Q: My camera won’t accept my as card so I bought the one recommended by amazon and it’s still saying there a problem with the as card can anyone help me?

The camera unhelpfully tells you this when you plug a new micro SD card in. However all you need to do is use the app to format the card which it tells you have a problem with, and will be good to go when this is completed.

Q: How to run off IR? Can’t see the option in app menus?

This camera is the first camera I found were you can use the night vision behind a window. You can disable the Infra Red lights in the camera by popping off the black front to the camera (be careful not to break the clips, doesn't need much force, just a slim screw driver), and the IR lights are a plug-in module behind the front cover you can simple remove by unplugging it by just lifting it out of the case, disabling IR lights. But the front cover back on and you can then put it in a window facing outdoors with night mode on Auto.

Q: When i turn my app off it stops recording. I want 24 7 not motion detection. I got sd card in. Hiw do i get it to permanently record

In the app, go into the advanced settings, and then recording schedule, by highlighting everything blue you will be effectively be setting it to continuous recording, orange is detection recording, and white it no recording. I accidentally figured this out myself !

Q: can this camera be mounted upside down therefore the live view auto rotates?

Camera can easily be mounted on the ceiling and as others have said, there is a "switch' in the Tapo app to invert the image. You don't need to turn your phone upside down aa RaZiBo0 suggested and you don't need to pay for any service in order to rotate the mage as anes said. You don't even need to put an SD card into the camera to use it.
