Bobble Water Bottle with Carry Cap, 18.5-Ounce, Burgundy

I am a very frequent traveler (well, before Covid!) and my original Bobble went with me everywhere. The charcoal filter meant I could fill my water bottle from any faucet (outside of 3rd world countries) and have tasty water. Easy to drink from, easy to carry. I was never without my Bobble. I realized it had really seen better days and finally got a new one. I don't understand all the negative reviews! The latest version is just as awesome it was 5 years ago. The plastic is durable and easy to give a squeeze into your mouth. The filter is easy to change. The curve in the bottle makes it easy to hold. Best of all, I know I've avoided wasting my money adding hundreds and hundreds of single use plastic water bottles to the planet.

I really like filtered water bottles, and since this one is very popular, it's easy to find replacement filters at my nearest supermarket. I like owning it, and I like that I can pick new colors every time I buy replacements. However, the bottle is difficult to drink from, only giving you a gulp or two of water per "breath." It's not good when you're actually really thirsty, but it's okay otherwise. And I figure the lack of pouring is the "price" you pay for the filter and for a leak-less bottle. I also like that the filter/mouth thing is recyclable, so it's eco-friendly beyond the fact that you are already boycotting generic disposable bottled water.I would recommend filtered water bottles for everyone, but it doesn't necessarily have to be this one. But if it is this one, you won't hate it (and it's affordable).

The concept of this water bottle is super cool but I was a little disappointed. I have been using this daily for three weeks prior to reviewing. The bottle itself seems to be pretty durable and the lid is really sturdy…too sturdy? For the first two weeks, it was really difficult for me to open the lid and get to the mouth piece. I squeezed two bottles of water out of the filter as you're supposed to do, prior to using this water bottle but the water never really tastes good to me. I've even put already filtered water in the bottle and it tastes worse coming out of the carbon filter. I can see that the filter is working but it's not the quality I was expecting.

I would have given this bottle a 5 star rating except for the fact that if you leave the cap on the top even over night, it starts to smell. I only cap it when I am using it outside for hikes or at work, but other than that feature, this bottle is great! I've had at least 4, 2 for me and 2 for my partner and we love using them. Love the size of the bottle, though I didn't know I was buying one this small, it is actually quite convenient.

I like this concept of instant filtered water. My kids take this to school and are instructed to fill it up if they are thirsty again. It is a little hard to drink from, as you have to pull the water out, or squeeze it out, not ideal for a hot sweaty kid. My kid has one on her bed side table and fills it from the bathroom sink. I tried this, and it still tasted like "tap" water, which I do not like. But my kid doesn't mind.

I wanted to love this bottle but I just can't. I am very sensitive to weird tasting water and have tried multiple types of water bottles to try and find one that does not give the water a weird taste. I had high hopes for this bottle with the filter to make the water taste good but unfortunately all I can taste is the strong plastic smell of the cap. I followed the directions for the filter and have washed the bottle and cap by hand many times and the smell has decreased a little but it is still very strong and makes the water taste unpleasant.Also the bottle is just hard to use. The cover doesn't come off very easily and I tend to accidentally unscrew the cap and then get water all down my front when I go to take a drink. You have to squeeze the bottle to get enough water to come out you definitely cannot just suck. Also it makes a weird noise when you drink which is a little loud for quiet places like class.

I love this water bottle. It's the second one I have bought (the last one mysteriously disappeared). I will say that this size is a lot more manageable than the larger size. I am a full time graduate student and am teaching classes as well. This is the perfect resource so that I don't waste a bunch of plastic disposable water bottles. Plus it's cute as well! Happy buyer!

I wanted to like this product more, but I agree with a lot of the lower review scores for this water bottle.The bottle is small, and difficult to drink from. You get one air-filled gulp of water with each squeeze.My biggest complaint is that I've gone through at least 10 refills of this bottle (after initially doing 3 complete rinses, just to clear out the filter before drinking), and I STILL have a lingering carbon taste from the filter. I've been using this at the office with water from the water cooler, which I know seems silly to use in a bottle that comes with a filter. But honestly, if purified water tastes this bad running through the filter, I'm guessing tap water is even worse.This might be handy to have in some specific situations, but if you are looking for a basic, refillable water bottle, go with something else.

Excellent product, works perfectly easy to drink from!

Easy to carry and filters water as described. However, after just a few weeks use the mouthpiece is suddenly difficult to open. It's also not easy to drink from and less than ideal to take into a work meeting ... as it sucks air in very loudly after taking a sip.

Works fine. Has a grip outer dust cap. It doesn't leak if knocked over, even with the nipple opened for drinking. Personally I prefer to squeeze rather than suck. I've had shop bought ones in the past so I knew what to expect. This one appears to be original branded and not a fake knock off. I am pleased, I got one for the wife too and now I'm getting a couple more to keep by the bed as they don't leak and are handy during the night.

I had one of these bottles at work but wanted one at home too as I thought it was great. I used to filter tap water myself by leaving the lid off a bottle in fridge (it works saw it on TV) - but this bottle saves the time! It's instant. Nice shape to hold.... Only thing is you can't clean inside well but if you do it often it'll be OK.
