The pressure regulator is cheap. Gwt a good one. Worth the money.

Leaks, leaks and more leaks.I unfortunately bought two of these and have had similar issues. Which is primarily bad/leaking threads and cheap plastic connectors.The first one I bought had a leaking drain plug. I never could get it to stop and ultimately the plug itself cracked. I bought an after-market plug and eventually got it to stop.The plastic connector between the pump and the bypass valve cracked.I decided that I must have gotten a "bad one" so I bought a second one; and unfortunately had the same and similar issues- the drain plug leaked. tried and tried and couldn't get it to stop. Twice it just popped out while I was using it. I finally decided to just fill the hole with hot glue and hot glue the cap. So far, it is holding.- this weekend the bypass valve started leaking. Not even where it connects. It is like the housing of this value just has a pin-hole.If they would just spend a little more money on the connectors, plugs, etc it would be a decent sprayer. But, as it is, it is complete crap.Both units a bought have very little use, plug leaked on first use, is stored under cover and not misused.

Use this to spray my fields with herbicide. Works well so far.

Each of the plastic ball valves cracked at different times when I had dyed herbicide in the tank. Everything within range was sprayed blue. I suggest you spray half a tank of water at high pressure to test ball valves before adding chemicals. The pressure valve rattles around so that you don't know what pressure you are spraying with. Finally the arrow hand on the valve is stuck on the wrong side of the stop pin, so it is useless. My latest effort to correct this poorly designed sprayer is to replace the plastic ball valves with brass ball valves. With a new pressure gauge, the arrow hand rattles around and still does not give me a clear pressure reading and the pump runs all of the time.

We've got 8 acres of fencing that have to be weed controlled. Absolutely the best sprayer ever.HIGHLY recommend it. Put it together in about 15 minutes, added water to the tank, gave it an initial test for leaks (NONE), added weed killer and had fun spraying.

This is just the right size to spray from the back of my 4-wheeler. I don't have to constantly have to be refilling it. Reliable and, if you have any problems, Chapin customer service is actually a real service.

Worst purchase I've ever made. I've been able to use it for about 1 hour total. Constantly leaks and have blown the crappy plastic valves twice trying to get pressure into the wand. Will be throwing this away and shopping for a better sprayer with metal valves and fitting. Do not buy.Update: bought a 26 gal Northstar sprayer from Northern tool that works much better. Parts and service warrantied for 2 years also.I will not buy Chapin products again.

Where should I begin? First, there is no lid on the tank that I received. I don't know how you send out a tank with no lid, but somehow they managed to send mine to me without one. So, after discovering I have no lid, I improvised and came up with a temporary solution. Problem solved and everything else should be great right?? Wrong!!! The drain plug cap on the tank doesn't tighten to a complete seal; it resets once you get to a certain tightness and it's made out of cheap plastic. Why is that an issue you ask? After multiple attempts to tighten the cap and ensure it was not going to come loose or leak, it still wouldn't seal tight. I finally got it snugged and elevated the cap off the bed of the UTV to where I thought it was going to be okay and not rub loose. Well, as I'm in the middle of my field spraying I notice that I am suddenly going through a lot of mix. I stop and look in the bed of the UTV to see a puddle of chemical mix and it's pouring out of the bed of the UTV. So, save yourself the headache, money (and even the time I lost having to clean my UTV). Find another sprayer. I gave two stars because I didn't have the pump or fitting leak issues that other reviewers said they had; so at least that was a plus. None of those leaks matter if you can't keep the drain sealed or put a lid on your sprayer though. Buyer Beware!!!

I received the sprayer and bad weather hit, so it did not get opened right away. when i opened the box the pump was damaged. I called Amazon and a new one was shipped that day and received the next day. Return was simple. The new sprayer has been working very well.

This is a good sprayer at a great price. There were 3 issues:1-the PSI listed is incorrect. It is not 70PSI, it is 60PSI. It says so right on the pump. Reported it to amazon, but they have not updated the incorrect info yet.2- The hose in the tank is too short. It should be about 8" longer so it can draw the liquid in from the lowest point near the drain. With the hose so short it wastes about 1L at the end. I will probably buy a new hose and fix the issue myself.3- The spray wand arrived bent. There was no damage on the box, so it must have come that way from the factory. The good news is I called the Chapin help line and they shipped a replacement right away, so kudos to their customer service, otherwise I would have shipped it back.Overall good, and am impressed with Chapin customer service.

Purchased this because I was tired of hand-pumping and couldn’t reach the top of my fruit trees. This is a charm - easily hits 20+ feet tree tops.
