The beads are not rudraksha actually. They seem like one though. At this price point anyway we cannot except real rudraksha anyway. But the problem is the size of the beads. They are way tooooo small than shown in the picture. I bought this for mantra meditation but it seems like with ur eyes closed you can easily jumble over the beads as they are very small. You really need to be attentive to count on the beads one by one if you are going for mantra recitation for 108 times. This one I think is pretty good if one thinks of using it as a neckpiece, the size of the beads would only serve that purpose well.
