I bought this for my parakeet. she spends most of the day out of her cage and on my desk. she'd become accustomed to looking at my water glass and wanting to drink from my straw. at first I didn't think she was making it work, but then I saw bubbles and she's been using it a lot. it does drip occasionally so I've got a cloth under it. now I can drink my water in peace, lol!

Just got this today. It looks super cute in my hamster’s cage! It doesn’t appear to have any leaks and it seems pretty sturdy. It is small but I have a dwarf hamster and she can reach it and fit in the hideaway hole just fine. I put treats in the food dish attached to it and she enjoyed sitting in the dish while she ate her treats. She likes to climb and she immediately started climbing on top of the bottle and it didn’t tip over or anything. I think this was a great purchase, I will update this if anything changes UPDATE: while I love this water bottle. It looks so cute and works well, but my hamster chewed straight through it in one week. She normally doesn’t chew on stuff so I thought it would be fine, but I would recommend a ceramic bottle stand.

Granted the Customer service for this item is great! I got 2 of these due to the first one I got leaked so they sent a replacement. It also leaks. I am disappointed in it but I found another one that has a magnet and it works wonderfully! I cant return the 2nd one for a refund so now im out the money I spent for a product that doesn't work.

I bought this water bottle because I had an unexpected litter of baby syrian hamsters. It works great for them, but would definitely not work for an adult Syrian hamster. Can't say for sure about dwarfs since I don't have any. It's very close to the ground. These babies just turned 3 weeks old today and they're already starting to outgrow the "hide" part of it, which is fine since it's serving it's intended purpose as a water bottle. I don't use the food dish because it's so tiny and basically pointless. Also, their mother likes to burrow under it when trying to escape her motherly duties so I often times have to go set it back up again. She has tried drinking out of it before and it just looks too uncomfortable for her, so she always goes to her separate water bottle in the cage. Overall it is successfully doing what I bought it for, but I really won't be able to use it for much longer since they're getting bigger fast.

I read the other reviews and didn’t believe them but I should have lol. This product WILL 100% LEAK. However, I still like it. I had a glass tank and needed a stand so I replaced the lid on the bottle with a new one from a separate package and it’s perfect now. The hide is quite small so don’t expect to get a lot of use out of it if you have a larger rodent. The food bowl is tiny too, I prefer to use it in addition to a regular bowl. But I’ve gotten good use out of it! It’s not the sturdiest on substrate but it’s solid once you find the perfect spot. I would also say so far it’s been chew proof and my mice chew everything. 4/5 simply because of the leak <3

Great for smaller, dwarf hamster species but it would most likely be too small for any Syrian hamster. I needed a standing water bottle and it does the trick.
