Does this actually attach to the gutter? It appears to be placed on the ground in front of the gutter opening.

Attaches to the end of your downspout. The gutter is not involved

Could this item handle heat ? And or hot temperatures ?

i have it outside in colorado so seems to handle heat and cold ..

Is it rushed inside to slow the flow of water?

I don't think so. It just fits to the bottom of the down spout but it curves and disperses the water which may slow it some. I really like the look.

Can this be attached to the roof or does it have to sit on the ground?

It does not include any mounts for rooftop use as it is intended to be at the end of a downspout sitting on the ground, but if you're handy you may be able to work something out.

AWESOME!

I've always been a fan of Design Toscano. This dragon downspout didn't disappoint! The color and detail is pretty amazing. This is a perfect fit at my home, along with my other gargoyles, statues and rainspouts. Highly recommend.

Looks so cool

I love the look of this dragon rain spout. I did have to buy a downspout adapter 3x4 to 2x3 which I got from Amazon as well. It was exactly what was advertised. Would definitely recommend.

Dispersing water through flower bed.

True not measured correctly, they measured from tip of horn to nose. Used to flow rain water through flower garden. Covered pavers with white marble.

The make of this product is good quality. Sizing for the downpout is another story as the opening in the back is very small for my downspout and don't like the idea of making a smaller opening on my downspout to disrupt waterflow. Will use the statue in my flower bed with a solar light.

Gift for my daughter

Wow was she surprised when a Dragon Head was attached to her rain gutter! She loves it. I did need to get a reducer to attach it and that was simple to do. It finishes off the end and looks great.

Opening is really small

It’s the black dragon in the photo. Both had small openings. The opening is so small, even after crimping the downspout I could not get it in. I’m gonna go to Lowe’s to see if I can find an adaptor to make it work.
