The Berenstain Bears: When I Grow Up

My son enjoyed the collection we read them for summer reading. He said they were long but we got through them with a smile on his face.

As with most Berenstein Bear books, it teaches children lessons, in this case, that there are many things one can do when they grow up. I like that it touches on many different careers that exist, as there are a great variety, and sometimes children don't recognize that, even older children don't sometimes. The illustrations were fun too! This is perfect for young children, or perhaps even middle school-aged.

Love the story and the art! My 4 year old was into it! It was a bit much for my 2 year old.

My 5 years old picked this book by herself. It's a great introduction to all types of careers and give children an brief idea of what different job do.

Wayyy too long for toddlers to sit through. But Nice to flip throw pictures for now.

My kids love to read. Great book for young kids

I Love the Bear books and have since my grandpa bought me a stack while a young reader. I'm 34 and I buy all the new ones and read to my young readers. I pull out the old ones all the time especially during the holidays!!!

Cute book neat pictures of all the possible careers to have.

These berenstain bear stories have a good usually moral to them I particularly liked this one as it went through several job careers but at the end pointed out that one of the most important roles one can have is that of a parent. giving it an honour and responsibility to the role,which has an impact on the child reading it

My 6yr old really enjoys this series.

My little one is big fan and hence a collector of Berenstein bear books. and now she is on spree of collecting all of them! Her first reaction on seeing this one was that the author is not stan and jan Berenstein and we had to search for the reason :)I finds these books very interesting which has elements of fun and good amount of learning for kids..

This book came feeling very oily. Its like something was spilt on it before i received it. I had to throw in the garbage and wash my hands after touching it. The pages were also see through. Something definitely went wrong with this one.

The new ones just aren't as good as the old ones. The artful cover page...the text:image ratio, the text itself. Sigh.
