Kurt,Yes, this board fits the Genus Fli.

Q: Why do i need this for my genus compact fly trap that has yet to arrive?

MIC,These are replacement boards for the unit. The fly light comes with 1 glue board but the manufacturer recommends replacing the board once a month or when it becomes completely filled with insects, whichever comes first. The glue on the boards tends to dry out after 30 days or so. One box of replacement boards will last you a year.
