This is definitely an upgrade to the OEM trunk light in my 2009 Hyundai Sonata Limited. It is a direct replacement, and one of the easiest to do. Simply unplug the original and plug in this one. That's it! And the brightness is fantastic. It lights up the entire truck area of the 2009 Hyundai Sonata far better than the original. No flickering problems or electrical errors caused. Direct replacement for the original. Well worth it. This is an easy LED upgrade to do.

Install took about 10 seconds. No need to disconnect car battery. The lighting difference is dramatic. This was probably the best $20 I spent in all of 2022.
