Transmission quick connect line too big.
Works fine once you sand down the quick connect enough. Took me quite a while atleast three hours.

Excellent Fit and Finish
This is the 4th radiator my son and I have installed in his 2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ Sport with the 4.0L, six cylinder motor. The previous three (different manufactures) were just awful to install and always seemed to run hot. This radiator went from the box to the engine compartment in about an hour and a half...that included a trip to the auto parts store for coolant. After the install and proper burping of the radiator we drove the XL on a 200 mile round trip without a single issue. I'm so pleased with this radiator that I'm hoping Cooling Sky Radiator makes a radiator for my 1973 CJ-5 with the 304. If they do I cannot wait to install it in my CJ.Excellent fit and finish out of the box. Would highly recommend!!!

bent radiator...
They sent me a bent radiator... and now either Amazon or Cooling Sky are dragging rear on sending a replacement. I'll update if I get a usable product at some point... Seems like it would be a good product if it wasn't bent as if someone sat on it. Fingers crossed!Update...The replacement came, this one wasn't all bent up... Seems to fit in the radiator slot, but I'm still not on the road. They supply two quick disconnect trans heat exchanger fittings despite the standard setup only having a quick disconnect on the lower port... The kicker is the picture of the item shows the correct flare fitting, but it's nowhere to be seen in the box.To add insult to injury, the quick disconnect fittings are not end formed correctly. They have too sharp an edge that will rip o-rings and even if you break the edge, the outside diameter is still too large to insert in the stock quick disconnect. So if I'm to keep this radiator, I'm needing to build custom trans lines and modify the sheet metal behind the driver headlight.I'll update again once I get the parts for custom trans lines... And get this thing on the road. Glad this XJ is a project/beater car. If you want a drop in replacement... Look elsewhere.

Perfect fit on my 2000 XJ Sport
Installed on my 2000 XJ Sport and I'm very happy with the results. Installed with a factory 195 degree thermostat and It never goes above 210 degrees. Had it out on a 95 degree day with the A/C on and it holds temp steady. Installation was a breeze with a bit of modification to the radiator support to clear the filler neck. I would recommend this radiator to anyone that has even basic automotive repair skills. The most important part of the install is to get all the air out of the cooling system.

Do not buy this radiator
Installed this radiator in a 1999 Jeep XJ. Radiator I got was not a fit right out of the box. Had to machine the mount and the shroud on top of the radiator to fit correctly. Install time was over 5 hours of screwing around.I had to pay to get a leak fixed in the thing within 500 miles, and had to fix a cooler line leak at its nub because it wouldn't seat correctly.I have been a mechanic for over 50 years and have never had an aftermarket radiator take a dump like this one. Within 2,000 miles of installation the lines busted leaks right at the tanks for no apparent reason, I assume because of garbage welds. Unrepairable, unfixable, total loss. I was well outside the trash 30 day refund/return window and was left on read by the manufacturer of this awful part.Do not buy this radiator, especially if you aren't a mechanic and are wrenching in your garage. I'm lucky the driver caught the leak quickly and didn't overheat and blow the engine....you might not be so observant.

Excellent radiator
Fits very well in the Jeep. Had to modify the radiator support bracket to fit the large radiator cap and had to tighten the overflow fitting because it was loose. Overall the radiator is very well made and cools the Jeep with no problems at all.
