High Quality and Effective!
Here is my very first impressions of the leaf eater, since I've only used it for 2 days so far. 1. Build Quality = 10/10 2. Innovation = 10/10 3. Adaptability = 10/10 4. Value for Money = 8/10 5. Functionality = 10/10 1. Very well built, doesn't feel cheap. Sturdy, looks good. 2. Well designed for the purpose. Collected a lot of leaves and prevented them from getting into my tote system. Easy to knock off leaves, disassemble if necessary, clean, and arrange for different types of setups. 3. Different adapters are provided for varying pipe diameters. I saw a review that said it didn't fit standard sizing. I don't know what they are talking about. I have a 3" PVC DWV first flush pipe that it fits PERFECTLY to. I think it also has 2 and 4" adapters that came with the unit. What more can you ask for.... 4. Personally I think it is a little overpriced. $30 or $40 would be ideal.... But (maybe I shouldn't say this), I might be willing to pay a little extra if I know this is going to last for a long time and will continue to do a good job. 5. It does EXACTLY what it says it's supposed to do and does it quite elegantly. We'll see how it continues to work over the spring and summer seasons and if something happens that pisses me off enough to come back and change my review, I will. But for now, this product gets 5 stars from me.

Worth it, comes with multiple size options to fit pipes out the bottom
Works great at catching gutter debris. Easy to clean, screen snaps in and out to dump debris.

Very good but lacking detailed instructions to use with a first flush
Works as intended. All needed parts are in the kit. Easy to install and use. Feels quite sturdy. Only gripe i have with it is that it does not fit directly on to the first flush. They could have added a adapter to go directly from the leaf eater to the first flush without any pipe in between. Or maybe i missed something.

Working so far
Installed on a 2500g tank. Easy pulled plug on tank and stuck it in. Rain gutter drains into this. No junk in it yet.

Not for the south
Down here in Texas we have LIve Oak, Post Oak, And Pecan trees, all of which give off "blooms" of pollen, and these little buggers don't wash off the face. They pile up on the little flat area on the edge and make a mess and don't allow the thing to work properly. Also the screen mesh is bigger even than a window screen which lets part of the "blooms" through. It needs to be completely angled so everything will fall off and not pile up on the edge. It's easy enough to remove the screen and clean it, but why should I have to??? That's a trip up the ladder, and as I'm getting older that's less and less attractive.

It works
Rains coming in and debris off. The roof came in touch with the screen. It works perfect.
