snap ring pliers
A well made tool useful for expanding snap rings to put in place on machinery. I used it to put a snap ring onto a car drive shaft prior to attaching a cv joint.

Cheap and nasty!
I had read reviews about poor machining/manufacturing a figured it may be an isolated case. It wasn't. The knurled tips of the pliers are machined unevenly. So the left jaw at the tip was under 1mm in thickness and the right jaw was around 3mm. If you're buying these to use on transmission butt end clips, you'll know how strong they can be. These pliers are unfit for purpose. I took a punt, didn't pay off and I've now ordered the ยฃ33 Knipex ones...... But cheap, buy twice is the case.
