Works great for a single wire connection. I use these on motorcycle wiring.

Simple solution
I liked the ease of installation, the connector is a little big but otherwise perfect.

Not 16 gauge
Seems that the wire is not 16 gauge. More like 18 gauge or so. Too thin and will cause a bottleneck if wired to normal 16 awg gauge wire

I thought the items would be higher number wire
I will do the job , but not up to my normal standard.

Not water proof
This product is not water proof! My battery pack is made of PVC fused fittings and is completely watertight. My only protrusion is the wire which was sealed to the housing with epoxy. After use I found water in my battery pack, I thought it weird so I removed the batteries and filled the pack with water. The only leakage was through the fitting. Water literally was getting into the fitting and communicating through the wire insulation to the inside of my battery pack. Next time I will buy a truly water tight fitting

Great connector
Great connector Every time I add any component to my vehicle I always like to have a connector so it has easy access to remove if it ever fails then kind of wires and starting over again this is made nicely and definitely water sales just one things I don’t use Butt connectors to join wires I’m all fashion I always Solder all my connection and heat shrink tube and water and heat tape everything and then waterproof tape This will never become loose Because a car vibrates and things move around it’s permanent and that I just unplug my connector and I could do any kind of work I need that’s just me and never had an issue with a failure of a circuit because of the butt connector became loose
