Don't waste your money.
I was excited for this plant, but it was not at all what I expected. It came in a decent size box, but inside was a large styrofoam cup with a small plastic cup inside the other. Opening it felt like someone was playing a trick on me. The plant itself was no more than a couple dozen of the pads, some of which were yellow and brown, and only two actual stems with pads attached. No roots at all. There is no way it will stay together or survive floating in an aquarium, so I'm gonna try to let it sit in a Tupperware container with tank water and see if it grows and comes together at all.

They were shipped pretty quick. I currently have them in a 10 ...
Update 1/1/15: The frogbit has outgrown the 10 gallon aquarium I've been keeping it in. So it does grow really good after a little die off at first. After transferring some to another aquarium I noticed some 1-2 inch white worms (nematodes?) swimming around. Since the frogbit had been by itself in the other aquarium, the worms must have been from the frogbit. I plan to give the rest of my frogbit a diluted beach dip but I'm not sure if it can handle it, so I won't do it to all the plants at once.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I received my Amazon frogbit 4 days ago. They were shipped pretty quick. I currently have them in a 10 gallon heated aquarium. Enough arrived to completely cover about an 7x10 inch area of the aquarium. I started with one 6500k 100 watt equivalent cfl over them, but today added another 2300k(I think) 100 watt equivalent over them just for some extra light. There have been a few leaves dying but overall I think the plants look well. Some new pads appear to be opening up and it looks like there may be some root growth. They are currently in a fish free aquarium with zero current. I've so far added a little Seachem iron and Excel. I'm still waiting for the flourish I ordered to arrive in the mail. Since there are no fish, I did add a very small amount of miracle grow for vegetables while I was waiting on the seachem nutrients. I might add an air stone to keep the nutrients moving, but not create too much current for the frogbit.Any advice if I'm doing anything wrong is welcome. Overall I would buy again from this seller. Frogbit seems to be a risky plant to ship, but mine seems to have arrived fine.

Good healthy plants, great addition for Freshwater aquarium.
Received the plants in mail in a very timely manor. They came in a sealed baggie and were still moist when they arrived.None of the plants were damaged too badly. The existing roots did fall off but this is normal.I took the plants and put them in a quarantine tub for a few days to make sure no stragglers came along with them, there were none plants were very clean..After a few days in my aquarium they began to grow new healthy roots and are flourishing in my tank. After two weeks in the tank the plants look great, have a very healthy root structure and are multiplying. The frog-bit is doing a great job of removing nitrates as my levels have dropped quite a bit with just the few plants I put in the tank..I would definitely recommend this seller for their plants and would absolutely recommend Frogbit for a freshwater aquarium.

Lush and Green!
It's kind of early to make this review, but the real case of reviewing a plant that was shipped through the mail, is basically critiquing how the plant looks and how healthy it arived in.But I got this in the mail earlier today, it took about four days to get here, and I was so incredibly shocked at how green and lush this frogbit came. Super green, I would say at least 10-15 plants? Many of them already having runners and ready to be clipped. Fantastic! There were a very few leaves that had to be trimmed, but nothing bad at all. A lot of these plants had some pretty nice roots coming in. I put them in my 55 gallon to float along with dwarf water lettuce and the big water lettuce I have as well. They do look lovely together.Overall, i was very satisfied with this product!

Save your money
The picture looks great but then there is a picture of a cup and a ruler showing 3", just for scale of the plants I thought, wrong. After waiting so long I was thinking of canceling the order, they arrived. I was surprised to find that the 3" cup of plants was actually what I had paid just short of $20 for.Thinking that maybe they multiplied quickly I placed them in the tank. The next day I saw some leaves floating loose but figured maybe that was from the shock of shipping. The second day more loose leaves and the third day all were floating free, forth day all dead and gone.Do I think this is a rip off - oh yes.
