This is a great bag for the procrastinating launderer needing stability
I purchased this laundry bag after a bag I had purchased from Target with 2 straps finally broke after about 2.5 years. I've been using this now for a good amount of time. Enough time to write a review that accurately reflects how this bag performs over a larger time span than an initial review. The straps span from the top of the bag to the bottom, so this allows for a lot of room when unloading and loading it onto your back, which is key for me because I have bad shoulders which tend to hurt me if I have to squeeze into straps that are small. Once on the back, the straps are adjustable, so you can adjust the bag so that it doesn't hit your upper back legs each step you take. You can also adjust it so it does hang a bit lower on the back if your load is extremely heavy (which mine is, because I tend to take a long time between loads). Both of these are strengths over my previous laundry bag because they straps were not adjustable and they were stitched to a certain part of the bag, so the area to get your arms through was a bit small and not adjustable. As I said above, I tend to wait awhile before doing laundry, and this bag holds up impressively with the weight. It's also adjustable so it gets comfortable. So, if you tend to procrastinate doing laundry, this bag is a good option for you. When searching for a new bag, one of the things that intrigued me about this bag was the zipper in the front, so you can just unzip it and have all of your clothes "flow out" rather than having to turn the bag upside down and pour them out. Admittedly, I've only used this once. It worked fine for bringing my laundry back after drying and emptying, but I think I overestimated how much I would use this front zipper. Not saying it's a bad part of the bag, but my previous bag had a little net in front which was great to put the detergent in while going to-and-fro the laundromat. That is something I actually miss. This bag is large enough to put your detergent in the bag with your laundry, but the front pocket was convenient for both detergent and dryer sheets (which I always seem to forget, now that I don't have a pouch to hold the entire box of dryer sheets). My previous laundry bag also had a little zip pocket on the inside which I permanently kept my laundry card in, in addition to a few bucks in case I got to the laundromat without my wallet and my card was empty. Again, not a fault in the design or anything, would just be a nice to have. Finally, the string to close the bag is more sturdy and functional than a simple draw string, which was what my old bag had.All in all, I feel like I made a good choice here after about an hours worth of research. I do miss the pouch in front for my detergent and dryer sheets, but that doesn't take away from the fact that this bag is sturdy and comfortable. I've got a 6 block walk to my laundromat, and comfort and sturdiness are both paramount. Also, the blue is nice.-BK

which I like, but I stand 5'10" and had to get ...
Right out of the box, you can tell this a quality made bag. I immediately put it to the test, filling it to capacity with about a week and half's worth of laundry for two people. The load was heavy and I had to heft the bag over my shoulders while carrying another hamper. Normally I'd be worried that I would hear little tears of thread from the weight, but the bag and its straps held strong! The black plastic drawstring control is a little sticky, but works none the less. This bag is tall and big, which I like, but I stand 5'10" and had to get used to walking with it as a backpack because it the bag reaches far down to my legs. This is perhaps due to the placement of the straps being extended to the top of the bag, if the tops & bottoms of the straps were stitched closer together, the bag might sit higher up my back. But I imagine the straps are placed where they are for structural durability to reduce chance of the straps giving away.I definitely recommend this bag. It definitely beats dragging your home hamper to the laundromat!

Ok, but could be better
As a Licensed Massage Therapist with a private practice, I do A LOT of laundry. I walk about a block from my parking spot to my office 5 to 6 days a week with multiple sets of sheets and hand towels in tow. I used to utilize a heavy duty bag I got from Ikea for my laundry, but after years of abuse it finally bit the dust. I did a lot of research and thought that this bag would work for me.It is spacious, and I appreciate that the bottom sits flat. When loading it with clean linenes it is easy to stack folded sheets easily. What I don’t care for is the drawstring enclosure or the backpack straps. The drawstring enclosre is held closed by a plastic toggle that is worthless. It does not hold the bag closed. The straps used to carry like a backpack do not hold up to the bulky weight of my laundry and slip each time. I think I will try to find a better toggle to keep the drawstring closed and stitch the straps in the desired spot with some industrial thread. Note to the manufacturer if you read these - some real life product testing would go a long way in taking your products to the next level. Let me know if you’d like me to test anything.

Not Machine Washable -- Hand Wash ONLY!
I was thrilled when I first saw this bag. I bought it to store some fitness accessories (nothing heavy) and this was perfect! It was large and had a zipper at the lower end to make things at the bottom of the bag more accessible. It was made of a sturdy woven fabric, and the seam edges were finished off with a binding so there would be no fraying. It is very well made. Later, I looked at the tag and it says this:"Hand wash regularly (bi-weekly) with lukewarm water. Do not bleach, wring or soak. Air dry only away from direct heat. Do not over fill and avoid excessive weight."I'm surprised that a laundry bag would be hand wash only, and I'd be very disappointed if I bought it for that purpose. I will hand wash it when necessary (not bi-weekly, for sure) but I'm still happy with the bag. I should have known when the washing information was not included in the description that it was not machine washable. Live and learn. I would have bought the bag anyway, but I wouldn't buy it for laundry.

Very strong bag
Very strong bag - using it to carry a camping stove (Camp Chef Everest) and it fits comfortably. The backpack straps are strong and they free my hands up so I can carry additional things from the car to the campground. Did a lot of research and tried out various bags at the stores (including Camp Chef's 2-burner bag) and this is the best bag out there for heavy camp stoves. The material is very strong. I put the entire stove with its original cardboard box inside this laundry bag (the cardboard box makes it easy to slide the stove right inside, though it is not necessary.) Excellent product for demanding uses.
