One problem with this mold is the lack of instructions on how to use this mold. I wanted to include how to use these molds with this review. One things that must be understood before purchasing this mold is that it is made of a type of silicon type rubber and will have to be cut off the candle or soap with a very sharp thin bladed knife such as a razor blade or fillet knife. I used it for candle making.1. Run the wick through the bottom of the mold using a large eye carpet needle2. Secure and center the wick to the pouring area (top of the mold)3. Casting temperature of the wax should not exceed 170 degrees F, I poured the wax for my candles at 165 degrees F4. Let cool and top off as wax shrinks5.Cut Mold down two opposite sides until candle can be removed freely. The mold should not be cut all the way to the bottom.6. Candle is very small this Rose candle measures 2 inches tall7. Use rubber bands that are snug but not tight, the rubber bands should only be snug enough to hold the mold together without deforming the interior of the mold.8. These molds do not have a long life expectancy, after three uses the interior details are already showing signs of discoloring and slight deterioration to detail9. Clean the molds with soap and water between uses, otherwise dirt and old wax will build up and affect detail.I like these molds for novelty purposes, but would loved to have had some idea of what was involved and size of finished candle before I purchased. Overall it wasn't as bad as I initially had thought it would be, but I hope this helps someone else when they buy this product. The price is very reasonable.

Very nice mold and easy to use. The mold started ripping from the top after a couple of uses but besides that it is a very good mold. I use it to make candles and it can be hard sometimes to take them out without breaking but still a really good mold for candle making.

I have several soap molds from Longzang. I love all of them. This one was just okay. Its not as great as my other molds. It seems flimsy and I don't think it will last long. It also is much smaller than I expected. The finished soap weighed almost 3 ounces. It was a bit tricky to remove so I'm not sure if I will keep this one. It also takes a while to set because the silicone is very thick. I took a picture with an egg to give you an idea of size. As another reviewer said, The size of a pool ball, was accurate.

The media could not be loaded.  The mold came exactly as pictured. All you have to do is poke a hole in the center for the wick and cut a couple slits down the sides so you can remove it later.

Nice quality ,good price. Ihave not used the rose ball yet but forsee that it will have to be cut to remove your work.
