Red Carpet Studios Cosmix Copper and Green Spinner, Medium (31094)

The media could not be loaded. First of all, the green wind spinner I got is made of a lightweight metal and appears very well made for something mass produced overseas, a pleasant surprise. It’s only been up a week, but so far it spins smoothly and consistently. Worked right out of the box, no assembly required, just removed packing material. A yellow sticker on the bottom even pulled off easily and cleanly. Instructions say to apply car wax to prevent pitting. I used some Nu Finish brand I had laying around, nice because it was easy to rub off. I hung the spinner in a sitting area under my deck. The video shows the spinner in a light variable breeze, probably between 5-8 mph. You can see the pretty detail. In a higher wind, it spins very fast. I’ll probably take it inside if there’s a high wind advisory out of concern it might fly off the nail and crash to the ground. (But it’s high quality enough that it might even survive a fall onto the grass.) I live in upstate NY, so it will definitely come inside for winter. Right back in the shipping box. I hesitated spending $30+ on this expecting something really cheap, but it’s worth that price. I expect it will last more than one season.

Recently purchased the "Red Carpet Studios Cooper and Green wind spinner". It was delivered in great shape on the day promised. It looks great and was ready to go right out of the box. It is thin colorful metal (comes in several color choices); not heavy duty but once it is hung it is never touched again so durability should not be an issue. Having actually two spinners in one is a neat idea and offers some variation from other type spinners. Sometime they spin together sometimes opposite. Comes with hanging hardware and has easy spin, quiet bearings. Great product for a fair price, what's not to like??

I got this to hang in front of the windows of our sunroom as a way to try to get birds to stop crashing into them. I've read birds don't like to fly where there is movement. This spinner is gorgeous, and so far there have been no bird crashings this spring! But out of the box the spinner is SUPER squeaky. I sprayed some WD40 on it and that took care of the problem. Do your neighbors a favor and oil it up before putting it outside. The only other issue I have is sometimes when it's super windy the gold part gets wedged into the green part. It will still spin, then, and will eventually work its way free (if I don't fix it first). It's just less pretty like that. ;)

They are nice spinners, IF they work. I ordered four of them and the first two I had to send back right away because they were either very bent up or the lights didn't work. I saved two of the better ones, although I had to change the spinner on one right away because the original one didn't spin. So basically, there was one that was great....in the beginning. I've had them hanging outside in the sun for several days, because they're solar lights, and now NONE of the lights work anymore. We tried to see if the battery could be changed but we can't get it out due to wires and brackets holding it in, so I'm going to send these back too.

I bought this product as I like garden art that spins in the wind. Is a pretty design and I love the swirling motion, which I can watch for hours. My husband hates wind chimes that make a noise, which irritates him. This product silently spins in the breeze and is visually stimulating. I have had mine for many years now and it it still works perfectly. It does get a bit dusty every now and then, which just requires a quick cleaning. Very happy with the product.

Arrived well packaged and on time. This spinner is beautiful. The green part is quite a bit brighter than I was expecting based on the pictures, but I've gotten used to it. Think metallic bright Christmas green, vs a darker forest green which is what I was expecting. My patio is fairly protected, but this beauty spins in even a gentle breeze. It's mesmerizing to watch, as the two spirals each spin a different way. So far, I haven't treated mine with anything yet as recommended (wax, clear coat etc). Guess I'm hoping the bright green will quiet down a little with some natural weathering. I definitely recommend this item.

This spinner is very pretty, but it doesn't spin very much. Even on windy days it often just sits there unmoving.
