Studio
I am using this speaker for studio use so that I can hear the instruments at a lower volume and the bass is not too hard for the blending of the drums and bass for a easy flow.

Good for the price.
These seem sturdy and well built and for the price are an excellent speaker. No you won't want to run a large system using them, but that's not what they are for. The are easy to carry, and a good size. .

Now I need to purchase a receiver upwards at least 600w
Make sure you have a receiver that can fulfill the wattage purchased Mine was only a Sony 100 watt and purchasing 3 -1000 w and 1-800 watt sub woofer. Electric needs to move. Restricted to 100w Sony receiver, purchasing 3- 1000w and 1-800w, they will shut your receiver down

Good speakers - They could be perfect
I really like these 10" speakers from Rockville. I ordered 2 and then ordered 2 more for my shop. The sound is rich and full with good bass, mid, and treble. They are made of heavy particle board, and definitely don't feel like cheap speakers do. I like the deep handles that are built into the box and they support 2 different connection styles to your amp. The fabric that is glued to them is well applied and there are plastic corner protectors and built in feet. What I don't care for was the packaging. 3 of the 4 I received had caved in front grills. It's not a huge deal to me, just cosmetic - but why don't spring for better packaging when the product is already pretty good. This could have been an easy 5 stars from me if the packaging was better and the grills hadn't been damaged.

Works well for me.
I needed a medium-size speaker that sounds good and would not be too awkward to transport for use at smaller venues. This fits the bill. I purchased two or them that I use with my Peavy mixer-amplifier. Also bought the Rockville speaker stand and carry case recommended for them.

Pretty good
The tone is good, very lightweight. The input jacks and hardware are plastic. I lost some hardware the first time I took it out of the house.

Small speaker But very good.
The speaker its well built and it sounds very good and loud, it has no bass if you're looking for that, but the sound is very crisp.

Make sure PA System supports the wattage of the speakers
Used the 10" Rockville speakers to mount in the wall for a home cooking style diner. We have karaoke there and they sound great. The sound quality is clear if you have good PA set right!Good value for small events
