KidCo Gateway Baby Pressure Gate - No Tools or Wall Cups Required - Extra Tall & Wide Auto Close Magnet-Lock Safety Gate, G1201, Black

Just like the title says, this gate is extra tall and wide which is a real plus. We put it at the bottom of the stairs and shorter gates required bending over too far. The extra width of the opening is really nice too. Our previous gate was a couple of inches narrower and the difference is noticeable. The gate is very sturdy and is easy for adults to open and close. It does stay open if opened more than about 45 degrees which can be a plus or a minus. That my only small issue. For us, it would be nice if it always closed and maybe had a small latch that could lock it open. I might add a weak spring to gently close the gate but it really isn't much of a downside. All in all, a great gate. It works well and looks nice. Worth the extra $$$.

Solid. Does what we needed it to. The stay open function still works. I just wish the spindle adapters I bought to go with them had black or brown ends so it is not so obvious up against our dark brown spindles.

I did a lot of research trying to find the best gate to keep our 16-lb dog out of the kitchen. This one is the absolute best of all the ones out there. I needed a gate that was extra tall since our dog is a jumper. This one is perfect and stops him from leaping over. I love that it comes with all the extensions needed to fit a larger space. A lot of the other ones I considered required you to purchase additional extensions rather than coming included like this one. I was able to put it together in about 45 minutes. It probably should've taken less but I couldn't figure out what side I wanted my extensions on so I redid it a few times.I also love that it has the auto close feature, but can be kept open if you want. It was advertised that you would have to push a button to keep it open, but in reality all you need to do is push the gate more than 90 degrees and it will stay in that position. I also love how it swings in both directions and has a magnetic closure as opposed to a latch. I highly recommend this gate!

The gate seemd fine, but the wrong gate was ordered. After much back and forth, BabyHaven refused to provide a refun and I had to ship ut at my expense...This all due to the wrong gate was sent. After sending it back, they charged a 15% restock fee due to damage and missing pieces - the box was NEVER opened. I am certain this is their standard scam. I have not heard back from them, but please do not order from this company, as they are very, very shady. Look up their bad reviews and you will see similar issues. If you are lucky and they ship the right gate they get high reviews, but as soon as something is wrong, too bad for the customer.I do not typically write reviews but this company is really bad.

This gate works wonderfully. Bought for both dog and toddler use, and it is a super star for both! Love that it closes automatically and that it is not obtrusive to look at. Little 9.5lb dog definitely can't take it down, and neither can 3-year-old toddler! Easy for our 7 and 10 year old kids to open, super easy to install, even with extensions. We purchased this gate to replace a 10-year-old KidCo Center Gateway, and I'm so happy with the upgrades on this new gate. I highly recommend this gate.

Using this at the bottom of a stairway so the size is great. However it broke after one week of use. The hinge on the door is plastic and it cracked in half. I've been happy with KidCo gates in the past so I'm hoping it's just a defective unit. Returning it but I will try again with a replacement.

I have a large deck and wanted the dogs to be able to roam around on the deck without getting out. I called the fencing company who quoted me $400 for a gate. I went online and found the KidCo Tall pressure mounted gate. I have had it for over a month now and it works perfectly. I looks similar to the existing fence and it was a third of the price. Very happy with the purchase.

The gate is sturdy and very nice looking. My only issue was the instructions were not very clear. I had to go to you tube to see how to put it together.
