Ecaxtly what I needed
1 1/2 hp shallow well pond pump was poorly wired by former property owner allowing a short that melted this piece. Fit perfectly, easy to replace and pump has worked great ever since

Exact part needed
Pool motor stopped working pool guy says we need new motor, quoted $1100. Decided to inspect it for myself and found this part had corroded from not being weather tight. After researching this part found it on Amazon. Arrived and installed same day myself and pool motor is running swimmingly for a mere $40ish.

Low quality. Planned obsolescence! Fire hazard
Whilst this did fix my problem , the Item is specifically made by the manufacturer out of cheap plastic so that it break easily, there is no reason a simple flip switch could nkt be used. Planned obsolescence.

Saved my pool pump motor
Pool motor wouldnt turn on. After replacing the capacitor, I noticed this switch was broken inside the housing. Saved me from having to buy a new pool pump motor.
