Stay away, old expired dates
The package that I received in 2020 was packed in 2018. Dry old brittle and expired dates. Otherwise authentic Ajwa.

Hint of Perfume ...?!
Bought dates from this brand (Barakat) in different packages and all tasted great - kept this for special occasion as it has an elegant design. Served it to guests and was greatly disappointed. The dates looked the same and were sweet, but had a perfume like aroma and strange aftertaste. Confused and disappointed.
