Love it! Has so many uses. This is my first cutting machine and I don't regret getting it. There is still a lot of things that I need to learn about.

I love this machine. It has opened up avenues of creativity that I didn't know I had. I've made T-shirts, stickers, decals, done some metal engraving, created stencils, made some etched glassware.And I haven't even had it a month.I toyed with the idea of getting a vinyl cutter of my own for a few years, actually. I've had my eye on the Cricut Maker series but didn't really care for their policy of locking you into their ecosystem. I'm so happy with this machine. I only wish I had gotten one sooner.

My Cameo 4 Plus arrived today. I had some misgivings about purchasing it: At least one reviewer stated that it would not work with the Mac. My question about Silhouette Connect (an Adobe Illustrator plugin) compatibility went unanswered, so I ordered the Cameo 4 Plus and crossed my fingers.Here's the good news: the Cameo 4 works fine with the Mac (I'm running High Sierra) and also with Silhouette Connect with Illustrator 2020. This new model is very fast compared to the original Cameo Silhouette (which I've been using to cut paper and fabric since 2013).Now for the not so good news: The Cameo 4 Plus ships with absolutely NO user manual and no user manual seems to be available on the web. There are a few help files online, but the information provided is very minimal. For example: Under the AutoBlade for the Cameo 4, users are told that it functions in a manner very similar to the previous version. That's about it! As for adjusting the rollers for 12" x 12" mats, I had to guess about the correct position.I'm quite sure that the Cameo 4, with it's specialty blades and vastly increased force, will be wonderful to use once I figure it out. This is my third digital cutter, so I'm capable of making pretty good guesses about what to do and how to test cut materials. However, Silhouette of America really should provide a basic downloadable PDF user manual with labeled diagrams, suggested blade choices and settings and a troubleshooting section. This doesn't seem like an unreasonable expectation.

La Cameo 4 Plus ha llevado mis creaciones a otro nivel. Su espacio de corte más amplio es una maravilla, me permite trabajar en diseños grandes sin tener que dividirlos. Es rápida, precisa y corta diferentes materiales como vinilo, cartulina, tela y más sin problema. Me encanta la cuchilla automática y el doble carro, que agilizan mucho el trabajo. Al principio hay una pequeña curva de aprendizaje con el software Silhouette Studio, pero una vez que lo dominas, ¡las posibilidades son infinitas! Si te gusta el diseño o tienes un pequeño emprendimiento, definitivamente vale la pena la inversión.
