Not that robust
Not much you can do if this is the item you need to repair your strimmer. I brought a Qualcast strimmer and had problems with the original spool head assembly (melted). Deduced that it couldn't handle what I was using it for (long grass/weeds). Anyway, this replacement is slightly different to the original, but fits ok. It is easy to change, and has the "bump" line feed facility, and a good length of line included, etc. The main problem seems to be that the fixing bolt is metal and the casing is plastic. The bolt sits in the plastic housing and attaches it to the drive shaft. When the spool gets warm/hot during use (in contact with ground/grass, etc.), the bolt eventually spins round in the casing - losing drive to the spool - not repairable. Damaged spools are not covered under warranty. Not recommended, but if you brought a Qualcast.......

From my experience ‘not fit for purpose’
This is a big waste of time.The main centre bolt head is smaller than screw cab it resides in.So when you try to undo it, you can’t.To undo the unit in the end I had to break the housing.I won't be buying another one.

Product Quality Inferior
Do-not buy this product, it is inferior quality and not up to the job. It lasted 5 minutes before shearing the plastic drive in the head of the spool.
