Identity Theft Prevention Confidential Security Stamp 2.25” x 0.75" Pink Floral

I like almost everything about this little cutie. It comes in colors and patterns, which is fun because going through my junk mail is not. I find it entertaining to merrily and emphatically stamp away my info and it does that far more effectively than black markers (Sorry Sharpie). However, my joy was bridled slightly by the fact that it doesn't work on anything remotely slick. This includes quite a bit of junk mail, magazine labels, etc. I even stamped a couple of magazines and aged them for a couple of days butit still smeared. Perhaps I didn't read carefully but I did not see anything about this in the description. I'm working around it easily by tearing my info off of the slick stuff and shredding it. I would have bought it anyway knowing this (and will buy another one for my entry), but I thought it worth a heads up to avoid dampening any other folks' unbridled joy.

I purchased "Identity Theft Prevention Confidential Security Stamp 2.25” x 0.75" Black Butterfly." I find the size perfect. I love the fact that it's a downward stamp. I thought I'd like the type that roll, but I don't. This is good for quick I.D. protection versus shredding. I still have super personal things I shred, but for day-to-day random mail items, it's great. It's a random pattern of letters. I find it covers my name, offer numbers, etc. just fine. The only time it doesn't cover perfectly is over bar codes for quickie website connection. I just hit it a couple of times, so your device can't pick it up. No issues with wet ink. But I am careful not to touch documents right after I stamp. That's just logical.

I ordered the wrong Identity Theft Prevention Confidential Security Stamp and the company sent me the right one with no additional charge. So hats off to excellent customer service. I like this product because the ink does not run and covers very well for any prescription bottle. Ink dries almost instantly and provide a good coating. I would recommend this product to my friends who wish to toss out their old medicine bottles but wish to destroy the informatin on the bottle. This product works!

I did not like this product sometimes when I pressed it doesn't covers the senders name on the packaged u have to do it so many time s n finally I gave up n end up getting a knife n just yank my name on the returned label so very frustrating wanting to returned it but I do not want to hassle the packaging n so and forth so I throw it away.n went to stationary store n bought one.No, I don't recommend this product ?

Very disappointed when I opened the box and found a plain black cover instead of the butterfly design I had ordered. Using it anyway. It covers print up very well if on a flat surface. If you go over it a second time (like I tried to do after stamping on an uneven surface) the letters and numbers you're trying to cover up are darkened more and start to show through. As long as you stamp once on an even surface it's perfectly covered and you can't read what's underneath. I didn't find that it smeared, but could see the ink was wet so didn't touch it. After about 15-20 seconds I blotted the ink with a piece of paper and got very little imprint so would say it dries pretty quickly. Easy to use. I especially like using it on cardboard boxes instead of the indelible markers which still can show what was crossed out.

I must say I was not happy to open the box and find a blue product with a separate "butterfly" plate to put on the front of it. It was supposed to be black. That aside...the product does exactly what it's intended for. I can forgive the fact that it's not the right color. Not a huge deal considering I'm not using it for the outside of it anyway. I am happy with how it works! Covered up my info with just one stamp. Would for sure recommend this product. Maybe just be more conscious of the skus your sending out. Make sure they are correct. At first I though 'Wow this is great, I dont have to put everything in my shred drawer to shred later.' But then I happened to flip one of the papers over maybe a day or so later and the confidential phone number that I had inked out was visible on the backside of the paper. It was almost as if it was just an oil stain was on it. I wish I took a picture to post with this. So to not waste my money, I ink it then shred it. A bit disappointed.

This security stamp saves sooo much time helping protect our identity. I would always have trash mail waiting to have our name and address cut out. A dreaded chore. No more, I stamp it there and then and throw it away.
