I will buy again
I have enjoyed using this. I actually add it to apricot preserves, (turns it a nice dark purple) and spread it on my toast, so good. I have also added it to greek yogurt, also yummy.

Intensely flavorful, perfect for smoothies, dressing
The pouch of LOOV Organic Blackcurrant Powder arrived intact and undamaged. The powder is intensely flavorful and mixes well in smoothies of nut milk, skyr nonfat yogurt, spinach, etc. Also mixed with unsweetened cocoa powder and swirled in skyr yogurt for a sweet (but unsweetened) treat. Added a few grams to olive oil for an excellent berry dressing for arugula.

Bird bone powder!
Taking this after reading a study that showed quite small doses of black currant powder caused a significant uptick in participants' osteoblast production without similar increases in osteoblast activity. I'm also eating actual black currants, too. Covering all my bases, if you will. Given the other torturous interventions I'm being subjected to in an effort to slow the dissolution of my prematurely hollow bird bones, this stuff is a pleasant little island of reprieve in the sea of misery I've been swimming. I've landed on adding it to my protein shake. So a banana, almond milk, unflavored protein powder, and this. Tastes like tangy blueberries. Actually added blueberries today and couldn't taste a difference. If you hate blueberries or tang, maybe steer clear, but it tickles my pickle just fine. You might like the actual berries more, I get the dried ones and they taste like crunchy raisins. Now, the study doses were tiny and I'm over here happily dumping piles of this stuff into my smoothie so with my luck I'll just spontaneously metamorphize into a giant human-sized osteoblast, but whatever. It's fine. At least I wouldn't have to eat any more natto.

Real black currants
This is really good! It has the real taste and flavor of black currants. It comes up a little clumpy, but I don't think it is a problem. Probably less chemicals are used as preservatives. Love, love, love it!

False Advertising not Nordic berries Origin Poland
I bought this product thinking that the black currant was coming from Nordic origin , since it is stated on the front of the bag . When you look closely on the back of the bag it says polish origin which is false advertising . When I first started buying this product the berries were coming from Nordic origin recently , they changed to Polish origin. The quality of wild berries from A Nordic country is far superior to Poland. Poland also has heavy levels of pollution and is 2.5 times above the WHO recommended safe levels . Why would I want to consume antioxidant supplements from there .
