Pippa and Pelle Board book – Picture Book, March 15, 2015

This is a lovely little book for young children telling a short winter story about the two little gnomes Pippa and Pelle. It is for small children, my son is 1.5 years old and enjoys it very much. The story is just long enough for him to listen to it and the pictures are beautiful and have just enough detail for little ones! We love it and will buy the other ones for the other three seasons as well!

My 18 month old absolutely loves this book, and I enjoy reading it to her. It's one of the few books I can say the name of, and she runs to go bring it to me. The owl illustration is our favorite. : )

These are lovely and gentle little books to introduce the beauty of the seasons to little folks.

Very sweet book. Thin but oversized board book. Pictures are inviting. Story flows nicely.

Beautiful book!

This book has delightful illustrations. I have purchased the entire series of seasons as well. This has also been a delight for my "inner child".

I see a few comments about this saying it’s too short or didn’t “tell them anything”. This book is for very young children, like babies and toddlers. It’s sweet with lovely pictures. It’s not supposed to entertain a 7 year old.

We got this book to give away during a German-themed winter program for preschool students. The reception was very good! The translation from German is a little strange in places, but the illustrations more than make up for it.
