KingLED KP4000 Grow Light for Indoor Plants, Full Spectrum Plant Grow Light

My 2nd year using the KP4000. I start and grow several varieties of seedlings. Mostly Geraniums. I have several Grow Lights from other manufacturers and like my KP4000 the best. Only suggestion I would make is to include a chart as to how high to hang the light above various seed-starts and seedlings (6in-12in-18in, etc.) so they get the preferred amount of light for each growth stage. I would recommend these lights to anyone wanting a quality effective product at a reasonable price.

Great quality, fan cools the light extremely efficiently and both the spectrum and intensity match with advertised specs (which is not exactly a common thing in Amazon unfortunately). Botanist with 20 years in professional and hobby horticulture, if we’d have had these LEDs 20 years ago they could have saved us a lot of energy and headaches. Fantastic tech, decent price, easy to use! Just make sure you have a surge protector stationed outside your tent/grow area as the cord is not the longest. I run all power/connecting cables for my lights to through the ceiling rafters in my basement so it works perfectly. The light itself attaches to the ceiling via the usual grow light attachment cables with the height being easily adjustable to raise or lower the light as needed.

I continue to be a BIG fan of King LED. This larger grow like works perfect and it's longer, narrow design makes it much more versatile for different locations. A huge amount of light and very easy to hang. There is no timer on this like, but it does have both Veg and Bloom settings (like all lights from this brand). It shas a strong build quality and has been very durable. I highly recommend.

If I could describe this light in one word it would be “overkill”. This light is insanely powerful. I used it in a 4x4 growth tent along my plants entire growth and I’ve had to raise it a few times as the power was very bright. The only downside I would give this light is that it doesn’t include a dimmer option so the light has to be raised a bit in order to not burn the young seedlings. Overall great after veg stage even while using both lights at once for autos. Lost 1 star because after a year 2 leds have died but still works amazing!

It's a really good grow light my plants love it they are clapping towards the light and happy great for my 4x4 grow tent.

Great lights great customer service had an issue with a dead cord. Instantly credited me money to replace. I own four of these and will only buy this light. Great job kingled

The light is awesome. Need 6 for a 10x10 tent. good quality. Bright. Plants are super happy. And have great returns. The only thing is the cord is short. You can always have to much and tie it back but it sucks having to buy extension cords

J'utilise cette lumière depuis environ 30 jours. La première fonctionne toujours, mais la seconde à tout simplement arreter du jours au landemain après moin de deux semaine. Premier courriel envoyé jours 1 du bris. Aujourdhui jours 11 toujours sans réponse du fabriquant mais toujours le même problème. Très déçue. Update : j'ai reçue l'aide temp attendu !! Même si la situation esr un peu fachante, la compagnie semble d'accord pour menvoyé une unité de remplacement. Ce qui semble sastisfesant. Prochaine update sera pour confirmer si l'entente a belle et bien eu lieu je donne presentement 3 étoiles. Entente semble vouloir être respecté. En attente de mon produit. Le service à la clientel est un peu long probablement du à la distance qui nous séparent mais mon offert un excellent service jusqu'a aujourd'hui. En gros un excellent produit consommant seulement 610w de courrant.

I grew these plants from seeds. That tent is 8 feet tall I had to bend the top of the big one in the back cuz it was already reaching the top of the light Plus the light is at the very top of the tent these plans grow huge under this light it’s hard to believe but the proof is here. Best value big bang for your buck.., I am unbelievably impressed with this product and I want more another one. 😛

4000W review.........This light has got way too much blue in it! My plants didn't grow barely at all. Leaves were very small and stems were excessively short. After some more grows and experiences with other lights/spectrums and studying, I found that narrowband lights with over 18% blue in their spectrum are not good and will in fact cause vegetative stunting. (AKA Undersized slow growing plants.) Blue is crucial and necessary for photosynthesis but causes abnormal photomorphogenesis (its elongation inhibitor effect becomes excessive) when you go over the limit and upset the scale nature gave us, which tells me these guys (and so many, MANY other LED grow light companies on here) don't really understand the effects and significance that different spectrum's, and their ratios and percentages have on photosynthesis and photomorphogenesis. And just are here to cash in on the LED grow craze rather than do their research and manufacture great plant growing units . Its ok for sativa cannabis maybe, since it will keep them short for indoors. Not good if you are looking for a whole indica plant or if you are looking to grow plants other than cannabis. Forget about a large healthy vegetable or flower plant that looks natural. You'll get a dwarf. Conclusion: There is still much to learn about light spectrum's and spectral ratios and their effects on plant growth. This one didn't impress me one bit and its quite costly. Overall disappointing to say the least.
