I have an older German Shepherd who constantly sheds and hates brushes as he is sensitive to being brushed. I thought these gloves were the solution since he loves to be pet. One or two pets and the glove was covered, it was great. Until it came time to clean the gloves off. With both of them on it is quite difficult to clean the hair off. Also being a shepherd he has a thick under coat, the bristles are not long or sturdy enough to go past the top coat. So while the gloves were nice they only did so much. I should've thought about that before purchasing. I am certain they will work for a breed that does not have quite as thick a coat as a shepherd though.

Worked well grooming my dog but the fit of the glove was loose which made it harder to use. The gloves are fine I just have small hands. Dog loved the massage as well.
