NIV, Life Application Study Bible, Third Edition, Large Print, Bonded Leather, Black, Red Letter Bonded Leather – Large Print, April 28, 2020

I purchased this study bible for my wife for her birthday. She loves it. The bible is very thick and heavy but no overly large. It’s compact enough that she can carry it to her women’s bible study group. She especially like the added details that give context and greater meaning to the bible passages themselves. The print is not as large as I had hoped — even at 10.5 point font it’s still pretty small — but readable. The supplementary text is even smaller print. Nonetheless, my wife says she has no trouble reading it.This bible is really very nice. It is nicely boxed and very suitable for gifting. The cover is soft leather, and the book lays flat when opened. The pages are very thin and have colored edges, so you need to exercise care when turning them. The words of Jesus are printed in red. The bible has two ribbon bookmarks, which are handy to mark two different passages or to serve as placeholders for both the old and New Testament.My wife is very happy with this study bible. I think anyone trying to read and understand the writings in the bible will find this to be an excellent choice.

The Holy Bible is the most important book I own. When my apartment burned in 2019, I lost approximately 10 or more Bibles of every description. Those Bibles and commentaries supported me from my pre-ministerial days (1983) to my then-ministerial life (2019). I was lost without a hard copy of God's Word. The NIV Life Application Version of The Holy Bible was my starting point to regain my secure footing. In the past, this version of the Bible assisted in writing sermons with clarity. I will never forget God speaking to me from Jeremiah 29:11. At that time, I only used the King James Version of the Bible. That proved God accepted the NIV Version of the Bible as well. I highly recommend this Bible.

I absolutely love this life application bible. I eventually plan to get a NKJV life application bible too.

I love this bible. I have another study bible that I use that’s more academic. But, I follow up with the study portion in the Life Application Study Bible to see how it applies to my life and/or how I can apply it to my life. I also love the book introductions and the explanation of different people in the Bible.

Bought this Bible with doubts about it being good but once I received it, I was very pleased by the craftsmanship. It has the large print, so it is easy to read, and I love the red letter where Jesus is talking

This is a wonderful Bible and love it. The text could be a little bigger but it's still good enough for me to read. I definitely recommend this Bible for daily reading and study.

Our Pastor recommended this study Bible and I really like it. It gives me a deeper understanding of God's word and tools for life application.

Great study bible. Make understanding and relating to the Bible easy.But for large print it could be a little bigger.
