The Downspin game is a game of gears, twists and turns, and strategy. Players take turns using their game key to turn one gear at a time, as they work their way toward getting all of their tokens from the top of the chute, through the gears in the shortest path, and down into the bottom chute first to win. Players need to be strategic and think ahead! Every move could actually help opponents on their side of the game unit. The first player to get all 10 of their tokens into their chute wins. While players try to outwit their opponent, they can practice valuable skills in strategic planning, critical thinking, and visual reasoning. This game was reviewed by Mensa for Kids. Bad Design and Poorly Made
Was so looking forward to introducing this retro game to my children. But its a load of rubbish, the counters don't move easily ruining the whole point of the game that you may be accidentally helping the other player, but your own counters have trouble going into the slots. Also when they role at the end in the 'home' position they don't come out or they role off the table on the floor instead of in their slot. Off to buy the old version of this game now on an auction site. Flimsy and Cheap counter also.

Great family fun
A brilliant game from my childhood with a new fresh look. The kids loved playing it. Great value for money. Feels a little bit un sturdy when playing it but apart from that it is perfect

Broken before I unwrapped it!!!!
My new game was supposed to be a gift for a little girl who's going to be in hospital over Christmas. However the item arrived still with the cellophane sealing the box but 2 of the cogs were already wedged together, after trying to separate them it was clearly impossible. I rang the company who had dispatched it and was laughed at down the phone. I am VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS ITEM

Rubbish
As a kid, my parents had this game and it was a fantastic, hours of fun, back then it was called 'Downfall'. I bought this for my grand children and I have to say it has changed. It is very flimsy, have to hold it every time you turn a cog, the tokens don't always drop, and overall very disappointed
