This tray is just what I needed to display all my loose gems n stones!! I might also get the black tray for lighter gems. They individually come out to look closer at and the lids fit snuggly. So professionally displayed. Love love.

this try hold my charms for my jewelry display. its perfect, the lids are a little tough to unscrew but that's perfect cause that deters theft, and the plastic cups don't slip out of the foam easily. will buy again when I have more charms.

Already filled up one tray with gems and it's very easy to use too. Container lids fit securely on top of each jar. Take the jars out of the tray first as each are still attached to the foam.

These are trays with inserts and gem jars only. No lid for the tray. I have ordered something before for my gemstone collection and it was more like a sturdy box with the foam insert that holds the gem jars, but it had a lid to conceal and secure the jars inside. This is not the same, but works fine. However I would be leery of carrying these out because the gems are visible without the box lid. The tray is sturdy and the jars fit securely in the slots. The tops of the jars also feel very secure.

I had a few loose gemstones. This storage has only one size of storage, which as I expected is for only small stones, and I still cannot store some that are too large but this does help, and I knew there would be limitations.

I put my faceted stones in these and they work fine, the individual jar lids stay closed well even when the stone is particularly thick or there are a lot of them. The tray itself has no lid, which I already knew by reading other reviews. I don't particularly care if it has a lid or not, I actually like it without since it's one less thing to worry about in my workshop, but if you transport your gems a lot, you may want to put it in a plastic tub. I ordered two of these and they stack pretty well. The only minor inconvenience is that some of the foam inserts inside the jars are a little pinched on the side, and wouldn't be suitable for smaller gems. I have a variety of sizes so I just put my bigger, thicker stones in those since they're going to dent the backing anyway, but if you only work with tiny stones, you may end up with a few jars where the stones move around a little. At this price point, I would expect a few little defects like that, so I still give it 5 stars. It works for what I use it for and I would and probably will buy it again

My granddaughter and I are using this to sort her rock collection. They are easy for her to use and the black background highlights the specimens beautifully. Make more like this with bigger containers and we will be all set to create a lifetime collection.

I use these to display my Swarovski crystals, and handmade flower nail art. when clients come they can easily look and choose which one they desire and the tray is a great quality as well. You won’t retreat getting this for your crystal collection!!!
