CONAIR INFINITIPRO Ceramic Flocked Hot Roller Set with Cord Reel and 20 Hair Rollers

I finally found hot rollers I love. I like my rollers hot and on the 12 setting theses get nice and hot but I still found them easy to handle. They heat up in about 10 minutes which is also great. I have a lot of hair so I appreciate that this set has 20 rollers because is use them all! I have funny in-between hair. Each strand is thin but yet I have a lot of it. My natural texture is neither curly nor straight but a hybrid with some spots curly and some spots straight, some places tend to puff out and some tend to get frizzy! This set makes beautiful curls that last all day and does not make my hair frizzy at all. It gives my hair nice body and bounce all over. I really love this set! I was using the super expensive BaByliss Pro 30 Roller Nano Ceramic Titanium set recommended by my hairstylist. They never got very hot even on the high setting and worst of all the sets kept breaking. I went through 3 sets in less than 3 years. They would just stop heating up. I sent the first set back under warranty to the manufacturer after 4 months. Their service was good and I got a replacement that lasted about a year. Stupidly, I gave it one more shot and it lasted about 10 months. This set already beats the other out of the water as far as function. I will update you and let you know how long this set lasts with nearly daily usage. Now, for the negatives, there are a few but not enough for me to deduct a star. I do not really like the weird plastic/metal clips. I feel like they do not hold the roller close enough to my head. Having had 3 sets of the BaByliss Pro 30 Roller Nano Ceramic Titanium, I have plenty of their plastic claw clips and I like those much better. Also, I have gotten my hair stuck inside the slit that runs in the middle of the roller and it took a bit to get it untangled. Still, as I said, the overall performance of this set is so superior that it is easy to overlook these 2 less than stellar features! UPDATE 10/9/2028: All of the rollers are still heating well which is good because I use this set nearly daily. I have even flown twice with it in my checked bag without difficulty. However, this morning when I opened the lid there was a crack and a 1 inch piece fell off the hinge. See the attached pictures. I am not particularly hard on the lid as far as I can tell. The lid is still attached but I am afraid this might be the lid’s death knell. Closing the lid makes the rollers heat faster but I suppose if it does fall off, I can just let it sit on top. The rollers traveling days might be over though. I will let you know how it goes. As far as roller function though...still perfect!

I will say, that after reading the product reviews, I was skeptical to buy. HOWEVER, I am very happy with my purchase! The clips are odd, yes, but I have long thick hair - so it does hold the curlers in place. They do NOT make dent marks in the hair. They even come with their own separate carrying pouch! The unit itself does not get TOO hot. It gets hot enough where you can comfortably hold the roller long enough to place into your hair. There is a temperature dial on the curler base so you can adjust if you find the curlers to be too hot. The curlers take about 10 - 15 minutes to fully heat up. I feel like that is typical for curling units I have bought in the past. The rollers are 3 different sizes, which I thought would be strange. Its actually really fun to use the bigger rollers for larger chunks of hair, and the smaller rollers for odd bits of shorter hair. Also - the cord is retractable!!! WIN!! I love my purchase and my curls stay in for DAYS!!!

I have only used them once and was very pleased with how long my hair kept the curl. I have fairly long, straight hair and have never been able to retain curls for more than an hour. I don't roll my hair often but am letting it grow out and need some options. I used these on the highest setting and let them heat for about 10 minutes and left them in my hair until cool. They were very hot and a little hard to handle, but I think that is normal. Now for the reason I did not give them 5 stars....I was not pleased with the clips. I assumed that they were claw clips, similar to the kind you use in your hair. These clips are spring loaded type clips but have only one "tooth", for lack of a better word, on each side. They did not hold the curlers on the top of the head, but I was able to use some hair clips on them. I had almost ordered an extra set of the claw clips when I ordered the curlers as they were a no shipping add-on item with Amazon but didn't. Now I wish I had. So, overall I think they will work well for me but will keep an eye out for other clips!

We've had various iterations of this curling set throughout the last 23 years and they typically lasted 2 or 3 years, but my last one lasted around 15 years. I was so worried it would break because I had tried other sets before and none of them held a curl in my hair like our old one did. It finally fried on a trip overseas and I was devastated thinking I might never have good hair again. I found this model and it is even better than the last one! It gets burn-your-neck hot on the highest setting, which is what I needed. Mine came with everything mentioned, despite other reviews citing missing items. I also love the purple and black, however this is a bit heavier than the last model. The retractable cord is a nice feature. I would suggest using the clips that look more like a hair clip with 20 or so prongs on the top sections of your hair as these clips can leave dents. I also think I will order another set of the medium sized rollers- the instruction manual offers a mail-in option to get replacements of any size for a good price. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you like to have curly hair- SO much easier, faster, and less damaging than a curling iron. I'm ordering another for my mom today! P.S. I noticed that the instructions don't tell you how long it takes to heat up but usually I plug them in for 15-20 minutes before I put them in.

Update: I have a love/hate thing with these rollers. While it gives my baby fine hair really great volume and some waves, I cannot coax a curl out of for nothing. Part of that is just how my hair is, but part of that is something with these curlers. If you have hard-to-curl hair, this may be frustrating for you as well. If you want volume without frizz and a few beachy waves, then this is one to try. I was hoping for more curl. I'm going to have to return this. Not worth $60 for the results--I should have at least a bit of curl! As well, it seems some curlers will be super hot and some not as hot. Maybe my set is defective. I did have trouble with the on/off switch every so often. ------ The last time I used hot rollers? Um, so long ago I don't recall: many years, like over 20 years. I do recall that they were HOT on my head, and often my super baby fine hair would look a bit frizzled. And there was no temp control. First--I learned from research that in ceramic vs titanium, baby fine haired people, like me, will do better with ceramic and more thicker coarser hair will do better with titanium. So I chose this ceramic set (maybe a mistake? As I can't coax any curls out at all!) This set comes with three sizes: small, med, large. I do wish there were more medium and small but this is fine. You should keep the top closed for better heating. You'll have to experiment with the temp as it goes from not so hot to hot--I do wish the temperature knob thing felt a little more substantial. There is a dot on the curler to tell you when the curlers are hot, or you can wing it if you wish. But I have uneven heating of the curlers and sometimes the switch doesn't respond. Easy to use. I held on to the end of my hair and wound the rest around the curler, like with a styling wand. I left them in for maybe 5 minutes is all (the first time), as I was looking for beachy waves. When I want curl, I may go a little hotter, and leave them in until they are completely cooled--update: didn't work. No curls - no matter what I do. The plastic clamps worked fine for me but I did order the metal clips as well; those clamp held securely so I may not need those metal clips but they'll be handy just in case and I purchased mine for under $9. As for soft not-frizzy hair this is great. I do have volume and body and I like that but no curl at all - not even a deep wave. Experiment with temps and sizes of curlers, and if you are a baby-fine-haired person as I am, and don't get the curlers too hot, you will be happy with the shiny soft results. Also, you can use a heat protectant, but I didn't feel my hair was being fried at all. These felt gentle. I just wish I had more curl, and the button didn't act wonky sometimes. They don't offer replacement rollers on Amazon and I couldn't find them on their site. They have this outdated thing of ordering by snail-mail and sending a check! Weird.

and quickly reheats if you do need to reuse some sizes for very long hair. I started using electric curlers about 40 years ago as a preteen when the first set came out! My mother always set my hair on sticky, brushy rollers and I had to sleep on them and really disliked it, but it was the only way my unruly and thick hair would cooperate. I have moved forward with electric curlers since, finding them much easier than curling irons. THIS IS THE BEST SET YET! You can control the heat setting, they heat up almost instantly, no waiting, they quickly reheat if you need to use a size more than once, and they tame my unruly, tends to be frizzy hair into smooth waves and curls. The variety of sizes allows a variety of hair styles. You do not have to leave curlers in your hair for a long time to get beautiful, lasting curls. Need more curl? or changed your mind about that wave over your ear? they instantly reheat in minutes and you are ready to go! I had no problem using the clips that came with the rollers. For heavier, thicker hair you can buy plastic beauty clips at Sally's in various sizes, and use those instead. They are quick and easy and there are no "hot spots" to touch., Also CHEAP.

Do not buy this set if you want curls ... if you have medium to fine hair ... if you don't want to buy new clips. I purchased this set to replace an inexpensive set of flocked rollers thinking it was time to upgrade. Big mistake. The cheap set w/ the old fashion wire clips worked much better than this set. The clips are a design error ... they do not hold the roller tight to your head, nor do they keep the roller in place. They are heavy and flop over pulling the roller w/ the clips. I tried for 3 weeks to work thru the clip issue before ordering a set of plastic butterfly clips (don't waste your money) to make these rollers stay in my hair. The jumbo size roller is too big for the wire clips I had from old set. Curls ... they last in my hair for oh, 5 minutes. The do give my hair body for the day... but curls ... nope. No lasting curls. The inexpensive set gave me curls that lasted all day. The unit does heat up quickly. I do like the retractable cord. But for goodness sakes, the fact that the cord retracts is not reason enough to have purchased these rollers. My husband threw away the box the first day I rec'd these or I would have sent them back. But instead, I tried for weeks and weeks to make these work. They don't work. Do NOT BUY these. I don't have a recommendation on what to buy ... just don't buy these.

I've used these exact curlers for years and I love them! And they have made a lot of improvements. However, these new clips are terrible. They are hard to squeeze open and when I try to squeeze and open them they fly out of my hand. They are weird. Here's the link for the best clips ever. Very good set, i hage long hair, the set has plenty of large rollers but I would have preferred a bit more butnits still ok. They heat up pretty fast and work very well. The clips included are great.

I saw so many videos on tik tok but it doesn’t last for a long time and sometimes not even 15 minutes Waste of money I tried to leave it for more than 1 hour same result the normal roller and moch better but it breaks the hair So disappointed And i had to buy voltage transformer
