Excellent product!!! Lamp is “very easy” to assemble (take cardboard out of tubes!!) and brass color is very nice, not gold or shiny yellow gold. Matches other lamps in my living-room. Very sturdy, turns off/on at top of lamp not on the floor like others do sometimes. Very long cord with plug. Allows up to 150watts. Not 3 way. Lamp shade that comes with it is not white, but very nice, medium beige colored material, wrapped. I choose to use a different white lamp shade and it looks nice and works well. Packaging was exceptional! Included are measurements on what size, & shape lamp shades would work best if you want something different so lamp will not tip over. Looks expensive, but is not expensive. Swing bar is nice for reading. Sturdy, padded, heavy base. Comes with additional padding if needed. Only issue is the swing bar underneath is a little rough to the touch. Not an issue though since it’s not something you would normally touch anyway. Great purchase, product and seller! Arrived promptly with no delay. I’m very pleased with this product, purchase and seller.

I’m so glad I found this one, after looking at several options here and reading reviews. This is very sturdy, doesn’t lean, and easily fit in a small space at one end of my couch that isn’t wide enough for an end table but needs light for reading. The switch is also where I wanted it, on the socket that holds the bulb and easy to reach; I did not want a floor switch. It can take up to 150 watt bulb and comes with a 60w LED bulb but you can use your own if you want brighter. It’s attractive with soft metal finish, and a good regular shade (not the flimsy Velcro type others sell). It goes really well with my decor and blends in. It assembled in seconds after getting the plastic wrap off it.

I love this lamp. Easy to assemble and complements my decor. I am finding it challenging to find the bulbs it requires. If ordered and bulbs are suggested include them in your order.

Love the lamp and it matches my other floor lamp that I bought at SHE Electrical. Price was much better than my other lamp. Easy to assemble although there was a silicone pack (about the size of a quarter), wedge in the part where the lightbulb goes which I didn’t see and thought the light was broken. Once that was removed the lamp worked.

this is not just a good purchase but a great one for the money I paid for this lamp. It's discreet and classic looking. The brass finish looks nice without being shiny or flashy. It fits in my traditional dark-walled den excellently. So far it works as it's supposed to. It stands solid and straight upright. It is heavy with a weighted bottom that makes it hard to tip over. It went together relatively easily out of the box, and I didn't bother looking at the directions (which I don't recommend. I have an extra piece that supposed to go somewhere.) The swing-arm works easily and doesn't seem flimsy. I really like the warm tint to the shade -- much better in its place than a whiter one. The overall dimensions listed are correct. It's not a overly big lamp so it can handle a range of spacing and placements.

I received defected lamp. It was very bad experience to take this heavy box to return . My recommendation is one should check if lamp is working or not before shipping

We now have two of these lamps. The first one is about 4 years old. We chose them because they fit well in our decor. The quality seems good, but they aren't Stiffels. They are holding up well. Assembly is relatively easy.

This is relatively easy to put together. A cord runs through the tubing and it's just a matter of screwing one tube to the other. A heavy flat base would have been perfect so I don't understand the footed plastic disc attached to the base that made it wobble. It came with stick on felt pads to stick on areas of the disc on the bottom to stop the wobble. They work but how long before they fall off? Also, I thought the shade was a bit short, so I switched it out for a nicer bell shade I have. Once it's put together it's attractive but I don't think it was worth the price tag.
