Juno MD1LG2 Series Mini LED Downlights open-up a multitude of task and accent lighting possibilities, especially when installation space is at a premium. These second generation recessed Mini LEDs still require only 5-watt input but now feature 50% higher lumens to produce brilliant white light, exceeding the performance of a conventional 20-watt, MR11 light source. Juno Mini LED Downlights can squeeze into the tightest of places and are perfect for niches, bookcases, soffits, displays, elevators or any tight space.

RFI interferenc from these can be a serious issue
These LEDs emit so much radio-frequency interference, RFI, that they prevent my remote garage door controls from working. When these lights are on, the garage-door remote must be within a few feet of the garage-door receiver antenna to function. The spectra provided show the broadband emissions of the LED lighting and the garage-door remote signal at 318 MHz. The red curve is a single frequency sweep of the LED RFI noise and the yellow shows the remote controller transmitter signal superimposed on about -70dbm of time-averaged LED interference. With the LED lighting off, red curve disappears and the noise floor is less than -100dbm. When off, the doors can be controlled from >100’ away. The RFI comes from common-mode currents introduced into the low-voltage wiring by the LED lighting. I am in the process of adding ferrite chokes on the wiring to limit the common-mode currents, but have not yet had much success owing to the number of LEDs I have strung together and the severity of the RFI caused by each of these.

3k color is perfect, light distribution is good
have used these several times for in cabinet lights for display cabinets. Work very well, 3k color is perfect, light distribution is good. Dims very nicely with a magnetic transformer. They are pricy but worth the extra money as they are smaller and flatter that a puck light.
