VASAGLE Freestanding Coat Rack, Rubber Wood Coat Tree with 10 Hooks

I don’t usually do reviews but this was surprisingly a nice coat rack especially for the price. It’s not a heavy wood but it is solid and very easy to assemble and holds things well! Perfect size too!

This Hall Tree is a rare exception- It far exceeded my expectations!- honestly -the price is so reasonable! It’s sturdy, attractive, and easy to put together! I’m impressed🤩

If you’re looking for a coat rack that blends simplicity with functionality, this wooden coat rack delivers in spades. I’ve had it in my space for a few weeks now, and here’s the full breakdown of how it performs in real life: Design & Aesthetic • Minimalist Charm: The natural wood finish gives it a warm, inviting look that complements both modern and traditional interiors. • Neutral Versatility: Its understated design fits seamlessly into bedrooms, entryways, or even office corners without clashing with existing decor. • Compact Footprint: It stands tall without taking up much floor space—perfect for smaller rooms or tight corners. Functionality & Features • Multi-Level Pegs: The staggered peg layout is a smart touch. It allows for hanging coats, hats, scarves, and bags without overcrowding. • Sturdy Build: Despite its slim profile, the base is solid and well-balanced. I’ve hung heavy winter coats and backpacks without any wobble. • Easy Assembly: It came with clear instructions and all the necessary hardware. Took me less than 3 minutes to put together. Maintenance & Durability • Smooth Finish: The wood is sealed and smooth, making it easy to wipe down and resistant to scuffs. • Long-Term Use: No signs of wear or loosening pegs so far. It feels like it’ll hold up well over time. Final Thoughts This coat rack is a quiet overachiever. It doesn’t scream for attention, but it earns its place with thoughtful design and reliable performance. If you’re after a no-fuss, stylish way to keep your outerwear organized, this one’s a winner.

I bought this coat rack to put in my office since I need a place to hang up coats, jackets and whatnot when I am at work. At this price point I was not expecting old-world craftsmanship. It is a pretty basic coat rack with an understated, traditional appearance. It was very easy to assemble. No tools are required (only a single hex wrench to attach the legs, which is included). It was more annoying to remove the parts stickers than screw the thing together, which only took about five minutes. The fit and finish is OK for the price. In some places the sanding is uneven and the finish is slightly imperfect. Nothing you will see at a distance. It seems fairly stable on carpet, but I cannot say if it is stable on other types of flooring (the bottoms of the feet do have rubber pads). I can't speak to long-term durability at this point. But people need to remember that is made of rubberwood. If you over-tighten the connections, it can crack. Tighten to the point that they are snug, but don't overdo it. If you overtighten the connections and then put a ton of weight on it, it can crack. I have had other rubberwood furniture items that have lasted 20+ years without a problem - just don't overtighten the connections. Also, some of the negative reviews here seem to be of other coat racks, not the VASAGLE RCR03/003. So far, I have no significant problems with it other than the minor flaws in the finish. If you want a mega indestructible, rock-solid coat rack with a smooth-as-silk finish, this is not it. But if you want such a coat rack, you will pay WAY more than the thirty-ish bucks that this costs. For the price, this is a fair deal.

I was worried about this purchase but it is SO sturdy, very cool and perfectly made. It was so easy to put together and looks like it was expensive! I absolutely love it!

Easy to put together, looks good, supports the weight.

This review is for the VASAGLE Coat Stand, Solid Wood Freestanding Coat Rack with 11 Hooks, Hall Tree for Bags, Purses, Hats, for Entryway, Hallway, Rubberwood, Caramel Brown URCR05WN. I wanted a pole coat stand that was made of wood, in a brown color, and, importantly, was not just a bland tubular pole with several bland tubular dowel pegs sticking out, like something I would have proudly made in junior high shop class. This one has a bit of style to it. It was easy to assemble, not much to it after all. I appreciate the tripod base instead of a flat round disc base that I had seen on other pole stands. I had paid $44.99 in May 2025 and I see it's now $39.09 as I type this, for as long as that price may last. All in all, I'm happy with it and can't think of anything bad to say about it.

Best coat rack ever, and nice looking too. Matches my office furniture to the T!

Comes in lots of pieces and very clear instructions. Now it holds a dozen coats and jackets. Looks good!

The style of this coat tree and the warm wood tone coordinate beautifully with my furniture and home. The assembly instructions are clear and it's quick to assemble. I'm really happy with my choice. I can't believe that it was priced so reasonably. Helpful hint to remove stickers used to label the wooden parts for assembly: I used a paper towel to rub peanut butter over each sticker and then left them overnight. The next day, my Skrapr rapidly scraped the stickers off, with no residue.

A girl needs somewhere to hang her hat and other essentials. This rack holds mine perfectly, standing neatly in a corner.
