Art college student - pretty much the only reason I got the desk was because of the drafting table feature, I couldn't find any other L-shape desk that had one. It took two days to assemble the whole thing. Everything lined up very tight, and the three desk pieces are as even as it probably gets.Reviewing after 2 years of use, it's still in great condition. And as a very biased artist, the drafting table feature makes this desk a favorite (not that it has a lot of competition).The desk is very large, spacious, and HEAVY. It's incredibly sturdy, with zero shaking when I'm vigorously erasing something for the umpteenth time. I have shelves on here, and it still leaves plenty of room for my laptop and 16" cintiq with room to spare for my other miscellaneous clutter. The shelves under the desk also provides nice extra storage, I could comfortably store my books on it. I also sometimes put my feet up on it.I have very few complaints, but there are some nonetheless.- The arm for the drafting table won't lock in on its own, you need to push down on the joint to keep the drafting desk upright. But other than that, the movement is smooth and doesn't require much force.- When I first got the desk, the holes for the smallest screws weren't drilled properly, they were just marked out. Though this was easily solved by simply drilling the holes myself (and, as a mildly deranged college student, I did this with a tiny minus screwdriver; it would probably be much easier with a proper power drill, but it can be done).- You can't really switch the articulation of the L-shape, it only attaches to the left side of the main desk.From what I can tell from previous reviews, it's a tossup whether the holes are properly aligned or drilled properly, but in my experience the holes lined up fine. I can't say about customer service if you do get defective pieces, and it'd be pretty hard to ship it back for replacements, I reckon. But if these problems are solvable, as it was for me, it was worth the cost to me, and I'd be willing to put in the effort to keep the desk when I move.

Great packaging, it was easy to unpack and get started. Directions seemed straight forward, until we got to piece 17 that for a while I thought had the hinges welded in the wrong place. It just did not seem to make sense and the printed directions were not clear on the position. After getting the frame completed and placing the wooden top on we were able to properly place everything and get the holes all lined up. There were moments I thought we'd be repacking and returning, then when we got to a point of construction I contemplated just asking for replacement parts because I just couldn't get the holes to line up. In the end it did fit, wicked tight, no wiggle room, desk top overlapping the frame more than I expected to make things line up. Very frustrating. However with all of that said. It is a nice desk, it organizes well and my daughter likes the lifting section for drawing. So I would buy it again, I just wouldn't make it the 1st furniture construction piece for a 15 y/o to learn on LOL

I reassembled this table around 2 hours. The desk has a good width and allow me to set my monitor well. The reassemble has many screw than I thought but it is very solid to use it. The L shape size is fit well for another monitor in the corner.

So I bought this desk to work from home. I was very excited when it came in cause it was perfect and started putting it together that night. My favorite part is the drawing board cause i love to color. Instructions are very easy to follow but putting it together is another story. Almost all of the drilled holes on the wood pieces are not placed correctly. They dont align. And then the metal holes are very hard to screw in. Once i got the desk together. It looks nice but the mechanism for the drawing board is either for the wrong desk or not made correctly because it is stuck in a upright position. And even if i take the mechanism off so itll at least be flat. The brackets holding it dont let it sit flush with the rest of the desk. I am very disappointed cause i was so excited to start working from home but looks like ill be packing up the whole thing to send back and find something else. Just wanted to leave this here so other people are aware! Have a great day!!!

BEAUTIFUL!!! I bought two L shape desks from Amazon lately. This one is way much better than the white one I got. It’s so flexible. Can be used as one single desk, two desks and a big L-shape desk. All look good! The wood pieces and metal frames are well processed. They are solid and look decent. The whole package was pretty heavy. I don’t blame it. After all, two big desks, worth every penny! I opened the package and moved the pieces into my house. The installation is easy. Every parts fit well, very study. Did the whole thing by myself. After it’s done, I am so pleased!
