Williams Textbook of Endocrinology 14th Edition

Book arrived in excellent condition, exactly as described. Great value

William’s more than DeGroot has been standard textbook for Endocrinology for decades. This 2021 edition is no exception. Chapters written by many of the most distinguished Endocrinologist in the world. Excellent for fellows to read during their training and for clinicians to have as a reference. Their are more text than tables and graphs. Best tables are those which list current pharmacology. Future editions should take a look at Cecil’s to learn the value of how a good table or photograph is much more useful than text. Some of the tables are not well explained and should have been. Yet the information in this text is the solid foundation of the practice of Endocrinology. The digital version is a pleasant surprise and nice edition but still use Up-to-Date more frequently. Definite buy for any one in Endocrinology. Highly recommend.

Electrons, especially if just rearranged, don't weigh very much. So this rather massive, and up-to-date textbook is easy to schlep around in your kindle. Navigation seems to be improved from the previous edition, and it's the 3rd one I've loaded on my trusty kindle (after deleting the old ones).Highly recommended as a reference.Obviously, if you're a practicing endocrinologist, you'll need to keep current by reading the published literature. There's another subscription service, UpToDate, but it tends to be rather superficial. This text, while updated only with each edition, is pretty current. I'd love it if they updated in real time, and in the same depth, but coralling that many top-notch academic endos would be more difficult than Hercules' fifth labor.....

Always the best and top-notch reference text for all areas of endocrine physiology. Extremely useful to me in helping me keep abreast of changes in basic endocrine research.

This book is excellent but unfortunately Its problematic as it does not function in my Mac ! it works very slow. I was therefore obliged to remove it from my App in Mac. Luckly other medical e-book work nice.
