Very Cool Sandal (Especially If The Second Coming Happens Soon)
I prefer a sandal that is a slide (without the annoying thong between the toes) but in every shoe store this year I can't find anything except the sporty ones with the big velcro flap from the sneaker companies. This sandal is a bit 'dressier'. (I'm not going to wear it to a wedding or anything, but I can wear it to church or a casual meeting and not feel like a schlub. They are very comfortable, cushy as you would expect from Dr. Scholl's. I found they were a bit narrow, but they are leather so I expect they will break-in nicely. Even being a tiny (and I do mean not very much at all) snug, they are very pleasant to wear.I like that they call them a Fisherman Sandal. I think they may be the kind of sandal that Jesus will pick up when he comes back. I picture him arriving in a cloud of great glory and being like, "Dude! We have the same shoes!" That moment will be very special and I look forward to it greatly. If he comes back wearing a sandal with a thong between the toes, I'm gonna be kind of disappointed.

Poor quality materials
Poor quality of the materials. After wearing them in house only, the material on the bottom wore out and punctured the sole. I am a 5'6" 187lbs man. They are comfortable but very cheaply made with cheap materials.

Does Not Last Very Long
Through the years, I have owned several pairs of these Dr. Scholl's sandals. I have purchased them at DSW, direct from Dr. Scholl's and through Amazon. I wear them in the house in place of slippers as they are easy to slide on and off and with the rubber sole are more stable on wood and tile floors. The one issue I have always had with them, is the the inner sole which is where the bottom of your foot rests, always deteriorates before the rest of the shoe. I have solved this in the past by pasting a fabric covered foam shoe insert to the inner sole. That way they last for over a year of continued use. However, this most recent pair purchased in Nov. 2020, is already showing much more wear than past pairs. Also, I noticed that when the fabric wore out in the past, there was a blue layer below it. This is now white and a different material. I have never had a pair of these wear so fast. It really is a shame as I have never had the leather top or rubber bottom wear excessively. In the future, I will no longer buy this product and will look for a replacement. Such a shame, as they are very comfortable for the time they are still in one piece.

Not just inexpensive - cheap in both senses of the word
I have a pair of some more expensive leather sandals (approx $120), and wanted to see if I couldn't get a pair of something a little less expensive so I can swap out on weekends rather than wear them 2 or more days in a row. I figured Dr. Scholl's was well known enough to be decent, and they do promise to have a real leather top. However these turn out not to be just inexpensive, but cheap in every sense of the word. Lining claims to be "memory foam", but is so thin it's hard to believe it's anything other than just some felt. Bought the same size I got my more expensive sandals, and on these that was long enough, but not wide enough. As a backup pair they're not bad, but they aren't really worth what they are charging either.

Rugged
I bought my first pair while on a trip 8 years ago. They were so awesome I started wearing them at home because the hardwood floors in my house are too hard to walk on barefoot all the time.I bought another pair for my airport/hotel "go" bag. I don't wear them often, but when I'm traveling I like to have sandals to get through the TSA stations (regular shoes too much of a pain) and to traipse around hotel areas (beach, pool, lobby, walk around outside, etc). Both pairs remain in mint condition. The first pair have taken years of beating with only minimal wear.I just bought my third pair today because my wife hates it when I wear footwear outdoors and then come back indoors wearing the same footwear. So now I will have three pairs, for indoor, outdoor and travel.

I owned these same sandals a year ago and they were great. I bought these on Amazon
1st..I owned these same sandals a year ago and they were great. I bought these on Amazon. TERRIBLE.First wearing, I goto the store, the sole on the right sandal falls off. I had to go by contact cement and re-attach.1 month later, The sole on the left sandal falls Off!! Terrible. I have to think this seller has faulty product? Not sure.

Best Sandals Ever!
These are the absolute best sandals I've ever owned and I am almost 58 years old. It doesn't get any better than this! I'm a tennis professional so my feet are extremely important and I sure hope I can find some more of these shoes. I had them in black and brown and when they wore out I bought some more. They only last about 1 year, so stock up if you can find them.
