Enzymedica Lacto, Digestive Enzymes for Complete Dairy Digestion, Offers Fast-Acting Gas & Bloating Relief

These little pills are the preferred lactose-intolerance remedy in my household. We've tried lactaid, but the chewable ones are so chalky that they taste like spackle-powder mixed with marshmallow flavoring. These obviously aren't chewable, so that problem was solved, but they also seem more effective overall. I find them to be the superior remedy.

This is the only item that I can take to digest dairy. It works!

Eating dairy before this product is a mistake that I have paid for many too many times. Once I got the dosage down for my body, two pills for most meals or liquid milk OR one pill for light dairy meals, it has been easily sailing. This is a subscription and something I take everywhere with me and will not eat dairy without it because the consequences are not worth it no matter how good cheese tastes.

Works great! I use it everyday with my morning yogurt.

I've regularly purchased Lacto in the past for my Lactose Intolerance, and it used to be incredibly effective in preventing gas, bloating, and diarrhea.Unfortunately, recently it seems that Lacto hasn't been effective in preventing the symptoms I experience caused by Lactose.At first I thought maybe I had gotten a bad batch because these new tablets have an odd bitter smell that they didn't used to have before. So, I purchased another bottle, same odd bitter smell & not effective in preventing my symtoms.I'm not sure if they reformulated or if these last few bottles are bad batches. But it's truly unfortunate because Lacto was my go-to Lactase supplement for years up until now. I've heard wonderful things about LactoJoy, so I'll be switching to that for the prevention of my symtoms from now on.

I have not been diagnosed with a dairy allergy and I can eat cheese with no problem, but ice cream and yogurt cause me to bloat and have moderate to severe stomach pain. I'm so glad I discovered this product. If I take one before having dairy products, I feel fine afterwards. However, dairy does cause the skin around my nostrils to break out, but this product has not stopped that. I don't have the items that cause me problems on a regular basis, so I don't know if this would work if I overdid it.

It does not help with Dipeptidyl Peptidase IV (DPP IV). I am casein intolerant. The enzyme DDP IV is not in this pill. I was taking them and eating my yogurt and ended up VERY CONSTIPATED. This is not helpful for casein intollerance. Try a gluten enzyme if you have my same problem. I just ordered a gluten/dairy enzyme. Going to try it.
