THIS IS ONE AWESOME SLEEPING BAG. BUT....
I'm really glad with this purchase. It has mega room. It's very warm. Haven't tried it at 20 degree rating yet, I'm confident base on how it did on a few 30+ degree nights. The inside feels very cozy. Regarding the padded neck baffle, this is strictly for when using as single individual bags when separated from being a double. But it didn't seem bothersome at all to us using as a double, which is mainly why I bought it. So everything about this bag is absolutely great....BUT.... Unless your name is Bruce Banner and you're in your anger state, don't count on getting this thing back into it's storage bag easily. In fact, it's also pretty tough getting out initially too. But since I didn't buy it for how easy or not it is to roll back up into it's storage bag, I simply bought a larger draw-string duffel sack to put it in, and that did the trick, very easy with no hassle. I guess I could also unzip them, and store them as individual bags like the one I previously used for many years.

Soft, warm, fluffy- packing bag TOO SMALL
This bag came the day before a last-minute camping trip, so I did not have time to wash prior. I slept in it with my toddler and we both kept very warm with lows of 40 degrees. We slept on a Klymit insulated inflatable mat, so I can’t say it was the only thing that kept us warm because we were protected from the ground. I also threw a blanket over the top with a sheet for my dogs to snuggle into so their nails wouldn’t scratch or snag the bag. Pros: It came without any odor and fluffed up very quickly and was so cozy and warm and luxurious. I slept with bare feet and they stayed plenty warm. Cons: Just 1, but it’s significant- It took FOREVER to get the sleeping bag out of the carrying bag it was packed in. It was the hardest bag I’ve ever had to remove a sleeping bag from. I read the reviews where people said they were struggling with it and thought, well…maybe they’re being dramatic. They weren’t. It’s a shame because this sleeping bag would likely receive more 5 star reviews, but for my experience, they sadly lose a whole star simply because of the packing bag design, it’s terrible, and there was not the slightest hope I could ever stuff this sleeping bag back inside the packing bag. I did a practice run the night before to make sure I could do it and it was such a waste of time. I ended up just using the packing bag to stuff all our winter gear into and used the purple sheet in the picture to tie the sleeping bag up in by the 4 corners. That stupid looking ball rode passenger in an SUV and nearly touched the ceiling. I don’t even know where to look or what to buy to store the sleeping bag- it is a fat, large, super fluffy sleeping bag. If anyone has found something they like for it, I hope they’ll include it in their reviews. Was it worth it? For sure. I love the bag. Would be singing its praises were it possible to store it in the bag in came in. So now, on to find a solution so this sleeping bag can be my go-to for years to come.

Man vs Mammoth
So there I was excited to use my new Teton Mammoth sleeping back with my wife and daughter. We get the bag out, fluff it a little to let it reach it's maximum "fluff status" and add in the sleeping bag liner(which I'd give 4 stars, needs a way to anchor in at the bag so it doesn't get tangled). The three of us get in to test it out and see how roomy it is.. and might I say.. it's roomy! Granted I'm only 5'8" 165, my wife is only 5'3" 115 and my daughter is only 1 year old but we could fit baby number 2 when it comes and still be comfortable. When the fun is all had, I was mentally prepared to wrestle this sleeping for the next hour to get it back in the bag after reading several reviews stating how difficult it is to get back in. My wife is pregnant so she took care of the insert while I single handedly slew the Mammoth. I folded it in half hot dog style and flattened it to let out the air and kept all the corners together and then I started rolling the sleeping bag using my hands and knees keeping the air out as I rolled. I grabbed the stuff sack it came with and guess what???? It slid right in! 5 minutes... 5 minutes! I was blown away at how easy it was, and I did it myself... I wonder if some of these people on here have ever rolled a sleeping bag before? I wonder if they've even rolled their own socks, I'm sorry for those it took an hour and a half to get this back in the bag, I'm surprised you even found the campsite. The sleeping bag is great, it's comfy and we are excited to try it out this weekend in 32 degree weather. I'll update this if I find that the wild somehow changes the sleeping bag, or perhaps my intelligence. If you are looking for a relatively inexpensive sleeping bag to cuddle with your significant other while in the great outdoors, this a great purchase(car camping only, I would never attempt to backpack with this beast). Please, take a moment and come up with a game plan before attempting, perhaps practice rolling empty garbage bags if you must, it's not that hard.

Toasty for two people!
This sleeping bag was so wonderful for our roof top tent when we went over landing in 40 degree weather! It kept us warm and didn't need to wear extra layers. Looking forward to trying it out in even colder weather to see if it holds it claim to a 20 degree Fahrenheit rating.

awesome sleeping bag with lots of room.
I literally cannot stand being stuffed in a tiny sleeping bag feeling like some kind of moth hatching from a cocoon in the morning. This sleeping bag pretty much solved that problem. I had a lot of space to roll around in at night, did not feel all crunched up in the morning. It's made from nicer materials. Dirt does not stick to the outside and the inside was soft. I used it for a camping trip to Lake Almanor. Instead of going with a traditional deflating air mattress or a massive camping cot I actually used rubber backed floor mats for under the sleeping bag.. That worked perfectly. I can’t say enough good things about the sleeping bag itself. I chose the 20 degree one because if it is zero degrees outside I’m simply not going camping. Temperatures went down to about 73 degrees at night and I did not wake up in the middle of the night feeling all sticky and sweaty. So that was a total win. The built in pillow also worked great as I did not remember to bring a pillow. If I had to buy another sleeping bag I would have zero problems buying this one again.

It is Warm
I purchased this, so my wife and I could sleep in the same bag. When I saw that it was rated for 20 degrees, I had reservations as bags in the past always let me down. After hiking in the mountains in northern Georgia in October, we decided to camp for 1 night there, I was nervous as it was supposed to get down to 32 degrees in the mountains that night and we were not really equipped to camp, except for this sleeping bag and my hatchback car. We put the seats down, put our sweatpants, sweatshirt on and hoped for the best. This bag was so warm, that by morning, we were down to our underwear and still a little too warm. If you are looking for a sleeping back that will keep you warm, I highly recommend this. If you are trying to use this for hiking, then I would not as it is heavy and bulk to carry, but, you will not be cold.

So warm
Purchased the queen size before camping in 20 degree F weather. We stayed warm with no issues. It was soft and comfortable for two of us with a little extra room. Our 11 year old got cold in his other sleeping bag and we had room for him to get in our queen size comfortably. Worth the extra money to be warm! My only complaint is that I will never get it back in the bag. But I just put it in a storage bin instead.

Phenomenal. Highly recommended.
Incredible quality and workmanship, the material is so soft and durable at the same time. The zippers are durable and they look like they will last for years to come. I love how you are able to open the bag on either side as well and this fits perfectly over our Coleman queen sized air mattress. I think the coldest we have slept in this bag outside so far is in Banff National Park when it was about 5 or 6 degrees at night after a whole day of rain. The tent was like an icicle but this sleeping bag was like a furnace. The bag is so easy to put away as well, just fold the sleeping bag in half and stuff it into the compression sack. I was amazed at how such a huge thing could be stored in such a small bag. 2021 edit: Still working perfectly. Have been using this sleeping bag with my other half for 3 years and it's still like brand new. Have spent much colder nights since my first review and we have 0 complaints. One trip in Yoho last Fall it went down to about -4C and this thing kept us toasty warm. Before we go on any camping trip, I take the bag out and let it sit in the sun for a few hours. I then turn it inside out and do this again. I was told by Teton that unless your bag is heavily soiled this is the best and easiest way to clean your bag. This seems to do the trick as every time I do this the bag smells like brand new. I highly recommend this sleeping bag as I have recommended it to all my family and friends.

Cost / quality / performance (perfect)
Good product. I compared with a few local camping store (MEC, lacordé, canadian ect) and i was not able to find a better product (size and temp rating). Obviously there are products out there that are twice the cost but i dont see how any more money can make this product better. Good zippers, quiet. Liner polyflanel is cosy and nice to the touch. Dries fast after thunder storm night and everything is damp. Nice and hot; my wife was always cold and this one is quite hotter than our previous one. Yes its “big” but not bigger than two individual adult sleeping bags same temperature rating. I was a little worried about it not fitting back into the carrying bag as many reviews mentioned...but i believe many of those people simply dont know how to put it back in. Its rolled into the bag from production but that never how it goes back in after the first use. I simply stuff it and it fits perfect. I always do this task alone and it really doesn't need two people to stuff it back into the storage bag. Be aware of similar product ( online and in store) that claim similar temperature rating while being half the weight. While its true that fancy insulating materials can be more efficient but never half the weight. We had a double sleeping bag before this one that was roughly a bit more than half the weight and it was only good for warm night ( july in canada). Honestly this one feel like a home comforter and is good for cooler nights. The temperature rating is adequate. But subject to your own interpretation. No one uses the same standards so its really hard to compare. I found that comparing net weight of the bag gave me a better perception of its heat rating. Points to improve: The carrying case, straps and buckles are a bit on the thin side (feel cheep) and sound like they are about to explode while pulling on them. The carrying case it self doesn't feel as rugged as a dry bag and is prone to wear and tear if thrown around while unloading/loading gear from truck to camp site. This can always be solved with a future purchase of a compression bag. More colour options would be nice.
