Can this shower caddy basket be used in a tiled shower or does it require a specific type of wall surface?

I used it on a tiled shower without any problems. The contractor installed it for me. It has held secure for several years.

Is this shower caddy basket suitable for use in public toilets or schools?

Having installed many of these types of shower baskets in a residential setting, I’m going to caution against installing in a public setting. The wall anchors and screws that come with the baskets would not support the weight of an adult or even a child if one was to use it to support their own weight or if a kid was to hang from it. You could possibly use if you get some longer stainless screws and make sure the screws find the wall structure or studding. But then the caps might not fit over the screws so stainless fasteners are recommended.

How does this attach to the shower walls?

It attaches with two peds on each side at about 2 and 5 inches.

Can we get dimensions that include the mounting hole locations?

The sides against the wall are about 7 1/2 inches. The holes are about 2 and 5 inches from the corner.
