Interesting
First off, ... I am a believer. As a ED nurse for 25+ years I have never HEARD anything out of the ordinary and I have a strong sense of commitment to a honest and accurate veiw of reality. No BS. However, that said, ... I have seen ,sensed events that, in my limited view have 0 explanation in our limited realm of logical explanation. According to very basic laws of physics, events that could not possibly manifest or remotely occur, ever. I obtained this out of curiosity. Have tried it out, middle of the day, after multiple protection prayers were said, and repeated. I have many very old items. From furniture of a deceased friend or relative. To a 50 caliber shell casing from Baston era. WWII. Nothing occurred when this devise was passed over them. I use rare earth magnets for a hobby I am involved with. There was a strong response over them. That, was expected. I am going to re run my exact path tonight, between 0000-0300. I will be writing this information up after I do. Later: Follow up: I said my protective prayers several times , and redid my first steps,as above, to a tee. Even passing the " EMF' ER over a WWII airmans cap, that is the real deal. Results= NADA..... Still happy with my curiosity acquired item. It is funny. However, no reading no spike , unless I passed over one of the rare earth magnets. Then it goes wild. Again to be expected. Oh, as a side note it remained at nada readings when passed over a regular ferrous magnet . So in conclusion, if you are up for a bit of mechvious fun, make sure the magnets that you plant around are the real deal... rare earth magnets only. This item really is spot on, for hilarious pranks and Halloween 🎃 fun. BOO...👻 🌻

My son's favorite birthday present!
My son is nine years old and fascinated with all things ghostly. He and his friends are very excited to have a REAL Ghost Meter EMF sensor. Even though our house is new construction on old farm land, it is actually teeming with ghostly energy, according to this meter. Usually the ghosts seem to inhabit areas around lamps, or other electronic machinery like televisions, or refrigerators. My son is very convinced there are ghosts in the fridge. I can only assume that our home is built on some native burial ground or perhaps some caveman battlefield where hundreds of Homo sapiens died at the talons of Tyranosaurus Rexes for there to be so many spirits in what would seem like empty farm land - but who knows what happened here hundreds or even hundreds of thousands of years ago? I mean, who am I to question the scientific evidence that this meter provides? In all seriousness, this does a great job of showing where there is Electro Magnetic Fields and as others have pointed out, it may alert you to some fields that might be causing you problems in your home. Try putting this in front of an old CRT computer monitor that we used to sit in front of all day long and wonder what that might have done to your innards! It is nicely labeled and should please any amateur ghost hunter or a budding electronic field analyzer as well. Nicely constructed, works well and gets five stars from me for not being ridiculously expensive either. Great gift!

The best EMF Meter for Paranormal Investigating.
This little device is a MUST HAVE for paranormal investigators starting out in the field. By far the cheapest of the commercially available EMF detectors, the Ghost Meter does come with pros and cons that could affect you buying it. Pros: The Cost Ease of Use The red indicator False Positives The On/Off Switch First and foremost, the cost of this device at roughly $20 is nothing compared to the $100 average of most EMF detectors. For someone interested in the paranormal but doesn't have the financial backing of a professional team, this device is perfect for you. The ease of use also is a contributing factor when it comes to new investigators to the paranormal. There are no advanced settings, complicated numbers, or button combinations necessary to get this device working. Press On and it starts working right away. The red indicator on the top of the device is handy for a few different things, but the best use of this light is for a stationary EMF meter with a camera fixed on it. Simply place the meter in a room or hallway with a camera pointing at it and anything spiritual that passed by it will illuminate the meter which is easily seen on your video playback. False positives are actually extremely easy to produce with some of these meter, but the Ghost Meter doesn't seem to have that problem. Like most digital number driven meters, simply shaking the device will cause the digital meter to show elevated EMFs and potentially fake evidence. Why would you shake an EMF meter you ask? What do you think happens to it while you're walking around? Multiple different meters found to be marketed to paranormal teams have this fault where walking with the device can trigger an elevated reading. The Ghost Meter's needle may bounce while walking with it, but the red light doesn't flash even if the needle goes beyond the green. Only an EMF will cause the red indicator to go off, something that sets this device apart from the others. Lastly, the on/off switch is one of the better switches when it comes to EMF meters. Unlike the K2 with a loose switch, the Ghost Meter's switch cannot be manipulated to produce false positives and requests you to intentionally press it to turn it on/off. Cons: The battery The needle The battery used in this device is a 9v, and while a lot of people don't consider that a bad thing there are a large number that do. 75% of equipment used by paranormal investigators used AA batteries and a very small amount use AAA. While a 9v battery does last longer than the average AA battery (or like most equipment x2 AA batteries), the cost of purchasing multiple 9v batteries over buying AA batteries in bulk can inconvenience new paranormal investigators. Lastly, the needle on the Ghost Meter isn't the greatest as detecting small changes in the surrounding EMF. While digital devices can tell you when a 0.5 increase occurs, the Ghost Meter will only tell you when the EMFs reach 1 through the red indicator. Anything under 1 and precisely over 1 is up to the investigator and their flashlight to determine. The reason a flashlight is needed is because the needle and numbers on the display lack the necessary lighting to be able to read them. You can slightly make out the position of the needle through the light emitted from the On/Off button but that is only because the housing is a clear plastic and it isn't very reliable. All in all, I rated this device a 4 because for the money it can't be beat. Is there better you there? Of course, but if you want the best equipment you're going to pay for the best equipment. This device has a long history of successfully capturing evidence with it and continues to be the official EMF meter of most teams.
