G'day Ralph, thanks for your question. Our rain gauge is the correct inlet funnel diameter as required by CoCoRHas and is the same style of gauge they use to measure the rain. We are currently in the process of finding out how to submit to them. Regards Outback Blue

Q: Will it freeze and break

Yes. On days that will freeze take out the center guage. After the snow or what ever melts back to water, pore it into the center guage for you water reading.
