Found it difficult to find a hose size that would fit both the inlet adapter and my pump.. too big for garden hose! Ended up using a washing machine waste hose with a wrap of tape over the adapter and a jubilee clip, works great now with the tiniest leak that I’m sure will right itself over a short time.
