Jeez these are nice shoes, especially for the modest price. This is my fourth pair from this brand: three moccasins/loafers and now these court shoes. I opted for the beige because they were unusual and the white bumpers looked better against the beige leather than against any other colour choice, and because the price on this colour was so good. Other reviews complain of stiff leather. Not so. The toe box is stiffened by a hard form between the outer leather and the lining (nice smooth leather lining throughout, including the footbed) so when your dog stamps on the toes of your new shoes they’ll bounce back. But everywhere else the leather is only as stiff as you’d expect. Then another reviewer said they’re narrow. If you have a wide foot, yes, but I take an 8.5 Medium and they fit. I’m just starting to wear them and I feel a pinch where the shoes bend at the toe box but I think it’s just the nature of the style and if I wear them often enough it will sort itself out. In the meantime I’m keeping them in shoe trees to stretch them a little, and treating them with saddle soap will help by softening the leather. Saddle soap is way cheaper than ‘leather lotion’ and does at least as much good. Because I don’t play tennis I can’t comment on what are said to be slippery soles but from every other point of view these are great shoes.

It’s a little different to wear these shoes that look like a tennis shoe but are leather. But this is a new breed of shoe. The upper is leather. The lining is leather. The sole is rubber that is similar to a tennis shoe. As I tired these shoes on I found that they were small. They are narrow in width. I had to loosen up the laces enough to get my foot in. I got a size 9 but I wear an 8½ and they were snug. They are long enough for a size 9 but not near wide enough. The soles don’t have much grip to them. They are more of a walking shoe. The upper is very shiny. It may dull over time. I am not sure what shoe polish will do to the white sole. The upper is also very stiff when walking in them. They may get softer the more I walk in them as the leather molds to my feet. The bridge over the top was tight on the top of my foot. The insole felt comfortable to my foot. And the lining is soft. To me these are more like casual shoes but it is hard to know what occasion to where them. On the one hand they are good leather shoes. While on the other hand they look like tennis shoes. I will have to wear them for everyday shoes. I recommend them for people who have long skinny feet and those that know where to wear them.

These leather sneakers are perfect for my son's slim feet and feel true to size. They look nice, the black is deep with textured holes like tennis shoes to give some style. The laces are black and I like the uniform look of the black and black with the whitish sole. They look good with shorts and pants and a variety of sock lengths - just personal preference. They broke in quickly and felt good wearing to work on his feet all day in the service industry. I like that they make him look a little more put together, like he actually cares about his appearance. He likes that they look nice while still being youthful (he's in his late teens). Overall, quite happy with these shoes.

I love these Driver Club sneakers. They are made of great quality leather and stitched extremely well. I wore this out in the rain (accidentally stepped in a puddle), and there was seepage though to my sock. They are also very comfortable.

I have been wearing this for a few days now hoping it would break in. Three days in and its hard to walk in them.
