America's Next Top Model, Cycle 2

This season if America's Next Top Model is still one of the juiciest in my mind and brought some of the coldest, aggressive ladies to the scene. You've got Camille McDonald, who has more self confidence with her signature walk and who is open about the fact she wants to bring down her enemy Yoanna House with a fake friendship. Yoanna is no angek though; when her buddy Shandi Sullivan has too much to drink, she lets her sleep with an Italian stranger and cheat on her boyfriend. Awful but hey now Yoanna is going to be feeling great tomorrow and Shandi is an emotional wreck. April Wilkner gets help from a girl the first episode and then stabs her in the back episose two. Catie Anderson perfected the art of crying at the drop of a hat. Bethany Harrison tells Tyra that the judges need to get over her chest. I mean there is so much crazy, juicy girl drama that this will always be one of my guilty pleasure throwback reality TV shows. This was also before Tyra Banks got too big for her britches and -shocker alert - actually hangs out with the models like a peer not some Wizard of Oz behind a curtain who only appears to make up words like smize and booty tooch. This is real, old school Tyra and I love it.

I never thought I would enjoy a reality show about modeling, however, America's Next Top Model has become a new addiction for me and I am going to watch all 22 cycles. It's amazing to see the transformation as the young women grow into top models and I was surprised at how difficult it is and what all they have to do and to learn. The show is informative and fun and I'm now an avid fan!

This cycle's pretty good. There's no casting episode, unfortunately. It's been so long since I watched this on TV, I couldn't remember if they originally aired one or not. My favorite part of this cycle is Tyra's music video. She's so talented!

The quality was horrible but other then that it's great

Great show and the DVD was in great shape.

Great show for you can learn a lot about the modeling world from it.

Ugh. Not nearly as spontaneous as the first season. The first program on the third disc is primarily a compilation of the previous disc so basically a rerun. Very contrived scenarios. Contestant behavior way over the top; probably scripted. Tyra Banks’ music video on the second disc is a wanna-be Beyoncé effort.

This is a great season! I can't wait to see the rest. I hope they get some of the newer seasons on too as I haven't been able to catch any of those on TV either.
