Great product...highly recommend...thick walls, keeps coffee hot. Unique dispenser nozzle, great idea...though I prefer traditional nozzle frankly since you can't lock this one open when dispensing large quantity service. Would prefer if nozzle would lock open as is common to allow for faster service to a crowd. But this unit very well made and should really last. Brew time is right on target with what is expected when manufacture puts in appropriate size heating element. Good value too.

So it worked great the first two times I used it, then it stopped working- only boils the water now, coffee grounds are dry, no sign of blockage, stem assembly seems faulty from manufacturer, very weak washer at the bottom of the stem detaches and that may be the problem. Contacted manufacturer because conveniently amazon's return window has closed after two months of ownership, manufacturer is taking their sweet a$$ time replying to my emails and calls. DONT BUY UNLESS YOU KNOW THE RISKS

Used twice brewing apple cider at home then moving outside in 30-40 degree temperature without available electricity. The double-wall insulation kept the apple cider piping hot while the outside wall was cool. Highly recommend.

This will NOT work for anything but incredibly hot coffee. I took a chance and attempted to get the pot to work for hot chocolate but it did not work out. One problem is there is not an option to only keep the liquid warm. You have to go through the brew process and once that is complete it will warm. As our work around we added just the water, went through the brew process and then added the hot chocolate powder. It was beyond hot. The reason I gave 2 stars is because even unplugged for hours the hot chocolate remained scorching hot.

Brews quickly and produces delicious coffee!

This coffee maker met our needs for a large capacity urn.

It heats up the water very nicely. Then, once it boils, it stops and doesn't reheat the water. So after a few hours, the water is warm (at best). We bought this from Restaurant Depot, but I am posting this review here to warn other potential buyers. Do not buy.

This takes so much coffee grounds to make decent coffee. Way more per cup of coffee than other urns I've used. The handle broke in 4 months of twice a week use.
