Pretty good
These are the only velcro bell boots that fit my horse well and don't rub him. The velcro is nice on them too, it doesn't feel as cheap as the ones with the thin velcro. They probably run small though as he wears the XL and he is a smaller warmblood so these won't fit a larger warmblood or anything drafty. My horse wears them for turn out and is ridden in them. He does not bite at them or try to rip them off (he has with other brands though) and so far they have lasted about 8 weeks and are just starting to shred a bit at the bottom. Even if your horse isn't rough on them I think the rubber will dry rot if on 24/7 so 2-3 months is probably about the max life on them, which for the price i'm fine with that. I only wish they made the XL in colors and not only black.

I recommend!
My boy has kept his shoes on no problem. No rips or tears and he’s had them on a little over two weeks. They’re worth the money imo.

They stay on!
These boots have stayed on well for my 15 hands Andalusian. So far no rips even on a ten mile ride over Scoot boots. The sewing seems better on these.

The sizing is a bit off
It is a good quality product, but the boots were too small for our gelding (just a regular 16 hands warmblood), even though I purchased the largest size.It could work by not fastening the velcro all the way, but it doesn't seem to be safe that way.

Quality Bell Boots
I purchased these bell boots andalso another brand. I returned the other brand due to poor quality on stitching of the velcro to the bell boot. The Cashel Bell Boots were put together with quality and the stitching to the boot appears to be done very well. Thank you!

These were unusable within a week
My vet advised me to use hind boots on my horse while she was on stall rest, recovering from a laceration that needed stitches. One was almost unusable after 48 hours after a Velcro tab ripped, the other boot tore completely through the rubber and was destroyed after 4 days. My horse is very quiet. At best, I would say don’t use them for stall rest. I was surprised as Cashel is normally a quality brand.

Good boots and finally large enough
So far these are holding up well. I leave them on my warmblood gelding 24/7. They are true to size (large enough). They don’t rub his heels and are easy enough to take on and off. The Velcro gets embedded with hay and dirt but it hasn’t affected them staying on. The Velcro stays “grippy”. I dont know why it says “no turn” because they definitely do turn. This hasn’t been a problem though. They seem sturdy enough to take a few knocks. I don’t like the typical “no-turn” boots because those have a knob that sits in the heel bulb to keep the boot from turning. That knob usually wears a sore on my horse’s heels. These do not have the knob in the back and are free to turn in circles - which is not a problem because the Velcro closure seems strong enough even if the horse strikes it with a rear hoof while overreaching. Everyone has their preferences, but for me these boots are working out great so far and are large enough. They are sized to actually fit large horse hooves. Before these I ordered 3 other pairs of boots in large and extra large in other brands only to return them for being too small. These are “regularly” sized in my opinion.

Good Quality
The turquoise color faded to almost a hunter green within a few days of wearing outside which was a bummer. The quality is durable and seems to fit comfortably. Easy to put on and take off. I ordered a large and medium because I was unsure which would fit. Medium fit my 15hh Quarter horse. Medium seems standard. Large was too large and would be best for a big horse.
