We are proud to offer our very own Model Subway Station Kit. This station has 2 sections to it. Each section is 24" long. You can use each section as a subway station that would be 24" long or you can put the together to make a 48" station. Each generic subway station comes with all the necessary graphics and balsa wood, to build one as shown in the pictures. The stations are designed with no names so you can place your own signs on them. They all have posters, stairway exit, turnstile entrance, no smoking signs and other items. the station itself is made of balsa wood, so it is easy to make any modifications if needed. Some of our customers have installed lights, installed exits, and signals, so if you are a crafty person you can bring this station to a whole new level.

Finally, a really nice subway station kit!
I have been wanting to add two subway stations on my HO layout and have been looking for a subway station kit. This is what I have been looking for. I built two them and they look great, however there are a some things that could have improved this model:Pros:* great subway graphics, but a bit large for an HO station. since they are in the background they not noticeable.* Easy to assemble for beginner to advanced modelerCons:*Balsa wood building material. Balsa is very flimsy and will break easily. Basswood would have been a much better choice and that is why I rated only 4 stars. Therefore, I used some thin luan board to support the station and support the graphic background for stability.*No picture of the of what the finished station should look like were included in the instructions for assembly, I had to refer to the picture on the box which kit came in to get and overall view of the finished station. However, the step-by-step instructions provided were clear and detailed for the assembly process.*Price of the kit. The kit cost about $70 and except for the graphics, the cost of the balsa wood was minimal and therefore the cost I think was excessive. But since is the only subway kit on the market I was willing to pay this price, and overall it was worth it!
