Makes planting so much easier!!!
I enjoy gardening but I did not enjoy doing a whole lot of digging in packed earth to make holes to fill with plants. This product has been our new friend in the garden. We have only used the small drill bit & that’s done the job perfectly. (I don’t think that we really needed the large green bit so we prob could have done without that one but we’ll see.) I put the small one in my drill & in a snap the hole is dug & ready to fill with plants. My only regret is that I did not buy one years ago.🥰🌺👍🏾

Didn't know I needed these as much, til I got them!
Oh my, I will never hand dig another tulip bulb hole...or s 4" pot planting hole...lolThese are amazing. Makes planting so much faster..I just didn't think they would make that much difference...I was wrong. Every gardener needs these (and a drill) whether you plant 3 bulbs/ plants or 300...I have random rocks I've hit that have not damaged the blades, but I do have pretty nice black dirt in my area...

It's ok
wife says it's easier to get all her flowers planted and she likes that...both augers are very sturdy i don't see any problems with encountering the occasional rock or root so that's a plus...only reason i didn't give it 5 stars is because every so often the auger just comes loose and falls out of the drill....I know it's not my dewalt power drill's or my makita drills...i never had this issue EVER...just with these augers for some reason...other than that they work great.

Great Tools
Wasnt quite sure these would do the job I needed, doing holes for post install.I had no need to worry, they are perfect, fit the drill exactly and work really well, no need to rent a huge auger ($250.00 ++) and they are a huge lot of fun to use.

easy to use
This auger is great for mixing soil. It mixes the soil in no time flat. It beats mixing the soil and soil amendments by hand. The auger does great of making holes for bulbs. Does the job of planting bulbs a breeze. The auger is well made and should last for quite a while.

Love the Smaller Bit, the Larger One Not For Hard Soil
This was our first time purchasing this type of thing. Unfortunately, this did not turn out to work or be what we thought it would be & expected. I fully expected to be able to use the wider drill bit (green) to drill larger holes for allium bulbs. We live in the desert southwest where the ground is hard, everyone in this state jokes how the "soil" it's like concrete. I didn't really expect it to do ALL the work, but I sorta thought it would do more than it did. The smaller drill bit, the black one, is great!! We used the heck out of it & it really helped us quickly & easily plant over 100 bulbs (tulips, spanish bluebells, etc.) this fall. So the smaller, black drill bit alone was worth the money. I think the shape of it is what really made it more useful than the wider green one. We even used the smaller one to help make the big holes for the alliums, but we also employed a shovel, trowel, screwdriver lol, soaked the ground, etc. If you live somewhere with better soil, where you actually get rain every now & then, or are working in a bed that's been used & amended a lot over the years, then I imagine the wider drill might work really well for you. It's not that it's bad, useless, or doesn't do the job at all, it's just that I need something more. Honestly, something more along the lines of a concrete jack hammer! So for me & my crappy soil the smaller, black drill is great, but it's a good set, I'm glad I have both and would recommend them. My review on the wider one probably isn't fair because of the concrete soil situation, but if you too suffer with concrete soil, you may want to pass & try something more serious & more substantial.

Study, easy to use, gets the job done!
This combo set is good since it has a small and big size drill for various needs, and does the job, easy to fit on my Dewalt drill. Personally I like the combo black & green color so this is why I chose this set in particular.

Love the little Auger!
This helped making quick work and saved my back from digging 100s of holes for bulbs this fall. The 3" inch one seems to be a little more difficult to use in clay soil. I think the thicker base of it was impeded by the clay even though I used it 2nd after the smaller auger started my hole.I plan to use the 3" in my raised bed this Spring where the soil is looser. I expect it to run easier there.
